She is on another level completely. It may take the tone deaf masses awhile to really appreciate her when you consider that much ofthe top selling music is someone whining and moaning over a drum track.

Fans, first time listeners and reactors need to keep in mind that right from the age of seven, Angelina has consistently performed live with full orchestras, big bands and small ensembles of professional level musicians. We have heard voice coaches and musicians tell us how we don’t realize how difficult it is for young vocalists to sing with a live orchestra or band. Clearly, Angelina mastered that ability by the time she performed in this video.

When she was one and a half thing and jazz I haven’t stopped to 16 1/2 now she’s still not Singer my number one singer on my top 10

As a long time producer I always love your observations of not just Angelina's vocals but such things as her incredible stage presence at such a young age! Also we need to remember that she had input into EVERY aspect of this performance, including the incredible band and musicians behind this longtime fan favorite. Love your reactions, keep em coming!

Her voice and skill seems to have made major jumps every year or less. If you compare the famous performance of Gloomy Sunday to the performance of I'm A Fool To Want You, then Bang Bang and finally Summertime, it was like years of practice and improvement between each performance instead of weeks. Then she shows off her skills and versatility with I Put A Spell On You. She has steadily improved and diversified her musical skills since she was six yeas old and I don't expect her to stop now.

My favorite is STAY or IT'S A MAN'S WORLD

It is Angelina’s genius level intellect, her highly developed intuition, instincts and her grandma, Mery’s creative influence that allow her to be the uniquely gifted and talented phenom that she is.

As there as 10 her growth was phenomenal she did a lot of things into 8 to 10 Paula song good songs she has been on more stages around the world the sound of thousands of people before she got out of grade school

Angelina a ring is all her own songs yes I watch about 300 times or better I watched her since she was one and a half I’ve seen her in bed and 14-month-old

She’s 10 years old doing this and when she was a thing and she went up fiber optics come back down smooth and landed that’s five optics up she is a prodigy

I believe this was for a charity telethon and that was the house band who were incredible. Angelina has performed this many times with different bands and they all have the same arrangement of the song and the arrangement Angelina was practicing as young as 9. I believe this might be her own arrangement. Thanks Stratele, this will always be in my top 5 performances from AJ.

Nina Simone is considered to be 'The Gold Standard' for this song which has been done by many great singers. That being said, Angelina, at 10 years of age, is to me, 'The Platinum Standard' for the song.

Jeff, the musicians, brass section are the same, she worked with at the Proisonhuset festival in 2017. They are like so many others more like friends. At the end of the video you see her smiling to them, like "we did a great job, guys." You can asume, they grinned back. Elmar from Germany.

"The Stream Gir Tilbake" is a weird mix of English and Norwegian. The "Gir Tilbake" literally means "gives back" or "returns the favor" or similar, depending on the context. Her family was fine with Angelina performing at festivals like this (with excellent musicians, playing the song as arranged by Angelina herself). The highlight is at the end, when we see her returning from her "music mode", quietly becoming just an unassuming little 10-year old girl again.

I just love your reactions, nice of you to give the band a shout out, they gave it their all! The brass section backed her up in her 3 concert tour the next summer, and I particularly love the performance of “Cry Me a River” at Prøysenfestivalen, where the trombonist made his trombone cry, beautiful! At 10 Angelina took a major step up in her development, there are many wonderful performances from that year. I’m sure you’ll get a fair few suggestions. Great review, thanks!

Yes, you're right on target. She stepped it up a couple of notches when she hit 10 years old. It's when the industry took notice and realized she was much, much more than a very young singer with a fabulous voice. The maturity of her voice, her poise and confidence on stage, her artistic ability to interpret the messages of any song she sings and her uncanny talent for rearranging classic songs from yesteryear into songs which are so different she actually creates versions of the songs that can be labeled "her's", it's incredible. This version of 'Feeling Good' is so good, to me it's the best version of this song I've ever heard.

It really shows that Angelina does her own arrangements,she studies and learns every note to her version of perfection,and never rushes the performance.Often singers rush through parts of a song to reach the juicy parts,and thus lose the listeners attention at times.

I think the Key to her skills is that she started very early.About 2 years old , and thats when the brain is at it's peak when it comes to learn to speak. If you think about music as a language this is the best time to learn it. It's not just her voice it's her timing and back phrasing that comes natrual for her after listening to old Jazz Clasic's.

She no doubt arranged this as well. She know just how she wants the song to sound and instructs the band accordingly.

Thanks for another great reaction to & appreciation of another masterful performance by Angelina - this one at age 10. I still highly recommend her US debut singing Fly Me To The Moon on The View at age 8. (This also includes a short interview in which she answers the question as to how old she was when she started singing.) And -another mind blowing performance by Angelina at 10 is her cover of Back To Black. (Btw - please let me know if I should just be sending these recommendations to Carl :). Thank you. Thank you for another grand reaction to my favourite singer and for posting a link to the original song. If every Reactor did the same, my blood pressure would be considerably lower:-) There are so many things I get from this performance. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 3.11 in your reaction video. (9) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Thanks for this reaction! Yes her growth in her skills is amazing. She must be working very hard to achieve this. This is such an amazing performance and everything fits wonderfully. The video recording is great with the camera going around her and Angelina smiling into the camera. The band is wonderful though the strings, apart from the intro, are hard to hear as compared to the brass and guitar. And than ah! Angelina’s singing: the big blast at the end is an obvious highlight but on the way there so many wonderful things are happening: beautiful riffs, incredible use of voice, toying with the rhythm, so incredible. I agree she does not sound 10 here. I do not hear any kid-like qualities in her voice here anymore. I bet if you let people only listen to the audio, they will guess an adult is singing this.

When you hear her at 8-9-10 it's hard to imagine how she could get any better, because she always had that magical ability to just draw you in and make you feel a song. Yet she has gotten better as you say, without losing any of the magic. What a wonderful musical ride she is taking us all on!😍

In 2016 Angelina was 10 and recorded my favorite song of hers, "I'm Still Holding Our For You". This video was LEAKED in December 2018 by unknown party(s). ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dv8mjCh5iiE.html ). The song was written by Baby FuzZ, and collaborators, at a songwriters workshop in Oslo, Norway (summer 2016). The jazz, blues, soul and pop feelings in this song put it in the middle of Angelina's lane.

Great arrangement by the band, but then again Angelina has always had really good music playing with her. Even at 7 Angelina had no fear of the stage, always the professional and it didn’t matter who or how many were in her audience. Unlike most performers the fear of making a mistake never existed and of course over the years she’s made plenty of them, yet the fear has never been there. As far as this performance goes I no longer look at Angelina and see a child, she is a professional artist who has the unique ability to perform, arrange her music and play to the camera.

She's alone in her own category which she established when she emerged with NGT and the I Put A Spell On You video. Ever since she has stacked up numerous flawless performances that no one else her is doing or has ever done. If anyone in history has done what she has from 7-16 I'd like to know who that is. None of the greats did. Not Celine, Whitney, Maria or Christina. None of them did what Angelina has done. Stacked up 200+ videos with many perfect performances. Of course there are right now other fine and promising young stars people recommend. Allie, Daneliya, Charlotte, Courtney and others. Some, like Aurora at 25 yrs old, are more career advanced and impressive. BUT............ they are not Angelina and not in Angelina's category. Angelina is something else.

I don’t know what’s wrong with people’s ears, but this voice is nasal, grating, lacks depth or texture. It’s the same paint-by-numbers parroted vocal style that jessie j, ariana grande et al do. Mediocre, nothing special, cannot compare to the vocal richness of the people they’re desperately trying to imitate.
