Their guest vocalist on this one, Omar Cardona, has a brother who is a powerhouse tenor in another stellar acappella group, Voctave. They're a bigger ensemble and like Voiceplay, have ties to Disney. Definitely recommend you check them out.
At about 2:30 in your video, at the "you don't wanna save me" segment by Eli, there's an Omar riff passed to Geoff- who repeats the same riff further down into the basement. There are lots of little details to pick up with a few more listens. Layne does some great percussion in this, as usual.
Couple of other Voiceplay suggestions: TRAPPED: Billie Eilish In 3 Minutes, TWENTY ØNE PILØTS MASHUP, Panic at the Disco part 1 and 2. Love your reactions.
Thank you for a great reaction to Voice Play. Please do a first time reaction to Voice Plays cover songs... Eleanor Rigby...Dream On ...Kiss...Carry On Wayward Son... They are amazing.
Just looked up the meaning of Superstition.. Quote word for word... What inspired Stevie Wonder to write Superstition? Stevie Wonder did not write "Superstitiom" because he had something to say. The way he tells it the song was based on a feeling he had while he was messing around in the studio. "Superstition was something that came from out of my mind right on to the drums I was playing, " he said in an interview.
