Musky fishing on Lake St Clair June 2023. Hooked into a giant 🐳

Yeah, there is a ton of bait from Brandenburg Park to Unriehl Marina in 12 feet of water. If you can find some slightly stained green water in there You will find some musky. Picked up a few but they were all in the 40 inch range or smaller. I’m not sure how far you are willing to travel but I think your best bet on the American side right now would be to try in front of the spillway/400 on the lake…. Hope this helps. Why not just take good measurements and pictures and have a replica made so that these marvelous fish can continue to thrive in LSC. Not sure why anyone would want to harvest a Muskie in 2023 when the technology exists to have an identical replica made that would accomplish the exact same thing without killing the fish. I guess some people just like to kill shit. 🙄😒

@thereeljbake we hook into them walleye fishing all the time. But got a Muskey story for you. Lake Wixom up north where the dams let go. Well my friend hay we should go to what was Wixom Lake and hit this big hole what is the the river now. We went just to mess around hook big carp sucker. Well I hook a sucker all right and the water is chocolate milk color so I did know what I had because the suck was coming in then 12 feet from shore the line took off. So then I was thinking oh man I got a big ass turtle online dam it. Oh no the frist time I got too see the Muskey I was thinking oh man that's a big ass pike and has my suck took off again got him back 5 feet away from shore and just by looks 48 all day might have been bigger told by buddy this Muskey got my sucker and will not let go get the net hahaha. Well after that run got the Muskey to shore about 3 out and as soon as my friend show up with the Net the Muskey let go left me with chew up 20in. Sucker hahahaha.
