I have been studying Islamic/Quranic history (manuscripts, archaeology, etc) and theology for ~20 years. Whenever I talk to Muslims, they don't know what I'm talking about. They have the same talking points and often tell you to consult the scholars (but no scholar is credible when you bring one forth!). This is the big problem with Muslims, they (like people of any other religion) have just been brainwashed to repeat the same stories but know little facts.

The difference between how Islam spreads and how Christianity spreads goes back to the founders of each religion. btw the 1st cruzades were in response to more thab 400 years of islamic conquest in the fallen western empire, wqe portuguese and spanish know the merits and justice of our resistance towards islam, we tried to force the catholic church to issue a holy war in the iberian peninsula but it was continously rejected untill they started to invase southern france. Although the history they told us about the cruzades does not mention this, people need to study not just rely on "mainstram historical narratves", the cruzades were a response to muslim provaction and imperialism. Portugal and Spain know the truth, portugal managed to free their indeignous people called the lusitanians that were romanized and later "islamified", in the end they have been reconverted to their roman heritage though the population no doubt has a massive proportion of arab genetics, hence why spain and portugal are mocked and insulted by European Nordic Nationalists.

Great show as per usual. One thing about wars in what is called "christendom": it's not Christlike. Jesus said "whatever you do to the least of them, you're doing to Me". I got my own problems, and I'm not judging any crusader or anybody's soul/eternity/relationship with God. But these folks doing these things, which Jesus said not to do, simply were not Christians.
The Crusaders did not know the Bible, and were indoctrinated by the RCC. They could sin, and pay the church, and receive indulgences! They were Scripturally ignorant!
Also the crusades were way more complicated than it looks, it was a response to 100's of years of tolerance towards the conquering and cruelties of Islam. Although their main goals failed, the crusades in a way slowed down and prevented further Islamic conquering of the Western World. I am in no way condoning cruelty whatsoever, but there still was a bigger picture to it we should not forget.
The crusades were in response to Islamic expansion and the Muslims taking territory from Christian’s specifically the Byzantine empire. The emperor Alexis Komenus asked the west for help in defending against the Muslims and the western Christian’s agreed.

It would be super funny if you would make a stream where you play as the Caliph Abu Bakr and such :D btw you need to own all the DLCs for mod to work properly...
