Sayangnya tidak semua orang Melayu Champa yang dapat berbahasa Melayu Standar sebab dulu diancam bunuh oleh Pol Pot. Hanya mereka yang pernah bekerja dan tinggal di Malaysia, Patani di Thailand, dan juga di Indonesia.
