My friend who says what is in the Bible is authentic? You need to do some research on the history of what you are believing in before you make a calamitous decision. There was no scripture for over 300 years after the time of Jesus and when it came, it was based on hearsay and manuscripts being copied multiple hundreds of times without a chain of narration so the message in them got diluted to the point of being meaningless. Then you have the current KJV which is the 5th MAJOR revision, not MINOR but MAJOR, meaning there have been major changes with over 30,000 changes made between the 1st Version and the 2nd Version.Why would God's word need major surgery by fallible men? If God meant there to be a Bible then he would have preserved the true and one message and for it to be written down at the time of the Prophet Jesus. Purgatory, Priests forgiving sin in the Confessional, Praying to Mary and to dead Saints and for the dead, Works, a Requirement for Salvation, Marion Theology. There are at least two dozen other examples of Doctrines, Dogmas, Traditions that have no Basis in Scripture.These are legitimate issues that have never been answered only, long winded and complicated justifications. Scripture which is the only infallible source of Authority for Christian Faith and Practice must have the answer or it isn't Infallible, but man made and Unacceptable unless, you have another Infallible Source that you can provide us?

South and Central America, Africa and Asia were conquered ruthlessly. The descendants of the ruthlessly converted will not be accepted by Jesus. Just like the original sin. Jesus called the pharasies, hypocrites. They followed the law. Enforced Christianity is hypocrisy.

the Catholic faith is based on Holy Scripture. If you take a look at the Catechism, all of its teachings are based on bible quotes, which they cite in each appropriate paragraph.
