@Alina Del Rey right and what they should want is to follow the rulings of Allah. They (we! as women!) want to please the Creator because the perfect life is in the hereafter. Everything in this life is a test. It's never going to be perfect.
Its important not to be misguided here. Though she was one of the first shaykha what was most important was she had ahadeeth which was not available to anyone else such as her intimate life with the prophet s.a.w and so sahaba had to seek her council in order to gain every drop of knowledge of rasulullah s.a.w as they could, so remember there was a clear need for this. Second is in every meeting at every time, Aisha R.A was always behind a curtain and completely sealed, she could not be seen at all, now compare that to the corruption today in that there is no need for the female to be there as there is no special knowledge she has that the men won't have and the worst is she is presenting herself before non mahram men and men in general without any need (duroorah) whatsoever and is completely haram, and she is sinning by doing so. Any time Aisha R.A walked out she was covered strictly head to toe, not a detail of her body could be made out and she only stepped out in the most important instances, she otherwise was never seen. May Allah swt guide us to the siraat al mustakeem
@@BigDuck786 Aisha was behind a screen because that is the hijab Allah commanded for the wives of the Prophet SAW. But I think it's a good idea for any public speaker if they must speak insha Allah as well. But that would only be necessary if there are brothers in the audience. However a better idea is to have sister only public platforms and insha Allah they can record the audio and edit it with other visuals insha Allah and post that online to reach other sisters around the world.
@Hana Munamana you are right. Taking her as an example is wrong. However imam shaafi also had a female teacher in many of his teachers. She was the granddaughter of hasan ra.(grandson of propbet pbuh) . The thing which is more important is the hijab. She taught from her own house ,infact when imam shaafi had died ,he had requested for her to be included in the namaz e janazah . And the whole jamaat happened in front of her house so that she could be included in the jamaat from within the boundaries of her house. Its not compulsory that you can't interact with men, and if you have knowledge that should be passed on ,then you can pass it on to both men and women, but the world needs to understand that we aren't going to be displaced from our houses. Its a privilege that women can have in islam, but sadly even the muslim countries donot give that privilege.
Females need female scholars as positive role models, suhba (companionship) and guidance on issues concerning women that would be awkward discussing with a man.
They can seek that privately and not on a public panel where men are attending and can see her as this is haram [forbidden], which is the issue at hand here
@@BigDuck786 who should not be seen? The speaker or the women in the audience? What if there is a screen for the speaker or she posts online lectures but you cant really see her face? I think this is better insha Allah. The issue at hand is really the intermixing and brothers looking at a sister on a stage.
Dont worry brother persist there. The most easy way to discourage a believer is to hurl novelity fallacy onto his face. N believers r labelled as "uneducated" "ancient in thinking", "ignorant, a jahil" im generalizing these labels but this is true here in pakistan. So be patient n persist in the face of difficulties.
This doesn't have to be the case. If there is a religion and i'm pretty sure there is a religion between the 3000 religions that has doctrines which are compatible with modern day feminism laws. But even then, If people find that most suitable for them to become atheist, I don't see what the problem is?
Its like locking every girl in their home and just allowing males to attend the politics meetings and the "important" stuff of a state then saying LOOK THEY ARE ALL MEN. Oh wait, that IS the case..
@Rider101ism if I apply your muslim logic, (that because we exist, therefore god exists).....then all other imagined god's, past and present, must also exist.....The criteria you use for your assumption is identical to all other beliefs.......not one god has ever turned up, doesn't answer prayers, is totally indifferent to man's woe's, is completely benign, deaf, impotent, incapable, and last but not least.....not there, not anywhere, not then, not now, and probably not in the future, but I'm more than willing to admit he might exist.....but only if and when he turns up.... You can't say i'm not open to the possibility, unlike you...your mind is fixated on his existence, with no possibility of you ever being wrong...a closed mind, incapable of using logic, critical thinking, or common sense...and that's fine.......but personally, I have very little time for your 'needy god' ....who want's us to bow and scrape, and who seeks constant approval and total devotion, to a vicious, merciless, vindictive, egocentric, buffoon........so laugh away you smug, arrogant commenter .......the fact is that you have all your work to do....you can never prove your claim.....it remains, just another empty claim...speak louder, speak longer, but to no avail....you are still left with.........nothing but your vivid imagination.........
@Rider101ism I don't subscribe to 'belief'..that's your domain...I rely only on evidence...do you have any? Nor do I indulge in 'acceptance' of anything without proof...again, that's for the simple minded dummies that need everything 'neatly packaged' for easy consumption....... I'm not too arrogant to accept god's existence.....I'm too bright for that nonsense. You end your tirade with yet another empty claim....you have to learn to come up with something that has meaning, and can demonstrate what you claim.....So your god is real because I happen to be commenting on a religious video !!! does that mean that if I stop commenting, your god stops existing? your illogical comment is what I expect from a fool......and when I die, I will be left with absolutely nothing....same as you....unless you can demonstrate otherwise......can you? I guess not....
@Rider101ism Thanks for your opinion....but it's lack of evidence that prevents me from believing anything, particularly in any deity, and especially your god, because of all the mistakes in his holy book......
@Generic It’s not a competition. Allah swt doesn’t discriminate between the genders. Some jobs men are better suited for such as prophethood, and some jobs women are more suited for.
@@mukalal2160 men protectors and maintainers of women. When women are praised no body question but when men are praised allah doesnt discriminate. What a logic you have.
Some Muslim scholars from the past like Ibn Hazm believed that Maryam was a prophet because only prophets had chapters dedicated to themselves in the Quran
@@waifuconnoisseur3625 this minority. There are many weird opinion from minority. we dont take it seriously .believe you me there are some opinion, lets just say you or no other liberal/feminist would like that
I dont know much. But what i do know is many “muslims” in our country say men and female should inherit same in all cases which is kufr if they know the Quran ayah.
you are just like me brother because we shouldn't have to agree with anyone about anything at the first place and thats how we will remain intact just like in our Pashtun Law when we are dealing with non Pashtuns ' the only thing i will ever agree on with you is that i will never agree on anything with you '
OK, until the caliphate But the author of a collection of hadiths or books differs on this point. The fact that we don't talk about women scholars doesn't mean that there are no women scholars. I mean his concept is fine but this information can cause controversy I guess it would be more effective to highlight the originated form diversity of men and women as to who has a role or not. Because women are made to be partners with men, Men without women are unimaginable, One or another woman (mother / wife) has also contributed to the development of the men mentioned in the video As far as I know, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to a woman named Barakah while she was still alive, Fatima (RA) will be the leader of the women of Paradise Even the first woman to convert to Islam was Khadija (ra), The Prophet (peace be upon him) is our role model, isn't there something for us to imitate even among his wives? Are they not representing Islam? Don't forget about Maryam (AS) ,,, Islam does not deny women's representation Islam says that women cannot have dominion over men as they have some originated weaknesses. However For women, there must be representation or leadership of other women, I mean He makes it clear that what feminists claim that men and women are equal is wrong I just concerned about some issues were not raised again Such as what will be the role of women, etc. From which people may get the misconception that Islam has made underestimate women (NO_OFFENCE)
As salaamu alaikum, Brother, I am concerned about contemporary social movements impacting our community as well but there is a fiqh waaqi, as such, a person must be knowledgeable about the realities and circumstances in a country, not having an all male panel is just that, it may be apt in western countries, not so much in non western countries. . If we were to extend ur example that the khulafa were all men...Well they were also Arabs too, so what does that say, should panel members only be Arab, too. By putting a knowledgeable woman on panel takes away nothing from our deen, plus it increases the dawah, in western countries.
@Asif Redoy Your response is non-sensical, its very obvious you didn't watch the video or read the thread of conversations prior, your just responding from ignorance or the thumbnail, or can't grasp simple things so go watch the whole, read the whole thread, use a glossary for fiqh terms, use a dictionary for the english words you don't understand and try really really hard then come up with an intellible response. Salaam
@Asif Redoy Lmao, don't get upset, you are embarrassing yourself, your comment has nothing to do with the video posted a year ago, or my comment posted a year ago. Just go do some homework before responding. From your writing, it appears English maybe your second or third language, or maybe you know the topic well but you are not proficient enough in the language to intelligibly express yourself. In any caae, keep at it, you will get better. May Allah grant you taufeeq. Ameen
@Asif Redoy Your English is incoherent and makes no sense, I can't understand any of it. Let me speak in a language on your level.. "You, english no good. Learn you must before speak. No disrespect u mother, by talking bad of all women, u not smart, u not know English, learn must you."
Hello Dr. Haqiqatjou, I do not necessarily agree with what you are saying. Just because I want a female representation in panels doesn't necessarily mean that I have a problem with the rightly guided caliphs, imams, Hadith scholars, etc. I do not consider myself a feminist because I already know that my rights are clearly stated in the Quran & Hadith, and also I know that men have some obligations just like women. I know we are different physically but we complete each other. However as a woman I want more female representation in panels so I can relate or feel like I have a sister to look up to (ex: Yasmin Mogahed). We should never forget Aisha RA was the first scholar in Islam... Please enlighten me.
Salam, may Allah's blessings be upon you. Here are my 2 cents. I dont have an issue with more women representation, I dont even have an issue with women only mosques like alot of other muslims do. HOWEVER, what I do have a problem with is the stuff these women propogate. The muslim women who I do hear today are propogating a left wing liberal feminist equality ''woke'' Islam and I can provide atleast a dozen clips to back up my claim. I am a male and if there is a muslim woman I would listen to over and over again, it would have to be someone like Zara Faris. Just look up Zara Faris and look up womens mosque khutbahs in Los Angeles. Listen to both sides and then pick the one you like. May Allah give you, your family & friends success both here and in the hereafter. JazakAllah.
i understand where you're coming from as a fellow Muslim women but the question is, what does this representation will look like? If its an only female panel or having more female scholars then i agree but why should the panel mix of male and females? This creates fitna and having boundaries crossed is dangerous especially if a mahram isnt present. I would go as far to say that having a female speaker infront of males or broadcasted is risky since people have a tendency to make personalities or cults out of speakers. Many hijabi influencers get famous and once they get sucked into the fame they take off the hijab. We can see how the liberals are using the female muslim speakers / personalities to further their agenda. Also please note that Aisha RA had immense modesty when she had to teach the opposite sex. There was a shield/curtain between them or when she wore the niqab when even teaching to her male cousin. My last point, there are many brothers / male scholars out there who are standing up for sisters' rights and making Muslim men accountable for their misdeeds. These men do exists and this is just my opinion but I see that most males (especially the deviant ones) are more likely to take advice from their male species. Call it unfair but that's just how it is. I'm sorry if this came off harsh and I mean no disrespect in my tone
You are putting it in a way as if Islam forbids female representation, as if females did not have a role in political/social life, as if women did not teach/spread knowledge/do scholarly work, and as if there were no prominent females in Islamic history, which is not the case at all. Although I usually agree with you ideas, but the argument you are trying to build here is very weak and doesn't make any sense
@Nazrul Islam it's not forbidden nor discouraged, but you don't want it. And my gender has nothing to do with what I wrote. I do not agree with the arguments the brother made in this video, although I admit I haven't watched it fully, but I am not the only one who disagrees with his approach and logic in this specific video. It is an opinion , which is a valid opinion, you can have your opinion, but express your opinions through proper arguments. The fact that you cannot build a proper argument and rather resort to personal insults based on my gender shows that you are the less intelligent one and you lack basic manners.
I don’t think he was trying to portray it like that at all, he’s just explaining the implications of the current ‘muslim’ feminist ideas on our religion & faith. This is not taking away from the great females personalities that taught and spread Islamic knowledge in the correct manner.
Salam sis, brother Daniel may come across exactly as how you are describing it. However, there is more to it. It's more about how feminists are wanting more muslim women representation just for the sake of them being a woman, which takes away from the merit of their content. I would love to have more muslim women representation, however, if most of them are going to propogate left wing liberal islam, then please ask yourself is that really what we want indoctrinating our youth especially our future generations? May Allah grant you and your family and friends success both here and in the hereafter. JazakAllah.
I always skip english islamic videos from someone called omar suleiman and alot of pakistani guys trying to be like "islam is peaceful " and when black lives movement started they're like "black prophets in islam " with weak hadiths . i think they're just sucking the west shoes and try to be cute muslims . i just watched this guy and he is different . لا يخشى في الله لومة لائم . الله يعينك
He didnt necessarily say that the prophets were black just that race was irrelevant when it came to messengers and Allah loved them and they were righteous and pure
@@ichaa3tech prophet s.a.w mentioned that Musa a.s resembled such and such tribe of Arabia and they are the darkest tribe . Yes he didn't call Musa a.s black directly.
Jazakullah khayr. I see your argument and how feminism can lead to apostasy, but in my opinion this occurs in people that have very limited and weak knowledge of deen and Seerah. I believe your argument of males on a panel and extrapolating that to every significant group in Islam that just happens to be men is a bit misrepresenting. There has always been female representation in Islam at the highest levels. 1) Allah (SWT) sending Salam on Khadijah (RA) via Jibreel (AS) 2.) Sumayah (RA) being the first martyr of Islam 3.) Umar (RA) appointment of a woman as the master of the marketplace of Medina 4.) Aisha (RA) being the foremost scholar of her time after the death of her husband, Prophet Muhammad (AS) and her father Abu Bakr (RA). If feminist knew and understood the significance of these things maybe they would have a different approach to female representation.
don't tell him a sheikh, he is gonna get angry. Unless someone has the qualifiications to be a sheikh, don't call him a sheikh. This was said by a sheikh himself.
The fact theat there are so many men in this comment section Who are attacking the intellect of women goes on to show ho this idea of yours is really harming muslim women. Your ideas are not wrong but i feel like your audience doesn't really get your points and just use you to demean women. May allah help us all.
Women understand women, no male can tell you how a woman feels about certain things. Women are wired differently. So having a woman around isn’t a bad idea. Women of today face problems women in the olden days didn’t face. Single mothers other than widows. Many women accepting Islam are single mothers. So with multiple fathers from their days in the dunya. They need to have a woman teach them how to dress , how to stretch a dollar . We the wives of the men of old to look to for guidance. So things are just to awkward to discuss with a man. She will feel too shy.
Still waiting for Daniel to attack Critical Race Theory, but then he’d be hated by everyone save the converts and a few born Muslims, so I don’t blame him
The Prophet (PBUH) addressed the issue of Race in his Final Sermon. While all People of Colour (including Muslims nowadays) have been brainwashed by White Supremacy, Islam is based on Merit according to Allah and the Prophet's Final Sermon. With a name like Rob Dufour I surmise you're some White guy trying to further influence Muslims with your White Supremacist garbage
No dude, women and men aren't equal in Islam. This is very basic in Islam, there are so many differences between the two in this religion and in reality.
Men and women are different and excell in different ways. Both are complimentary to each other. Men and women were not created to be equal. We were created to complete each other...
Lie. Women are created from men body, for men. Ar rum:21 Husbands have authority upon wives and can strike them (34:4). The testimony of two women equal the testimony of one man (2:282). Men can marry 4 women, they have a larger part of legacy, etc etc. But yes we are equals LOL
