Hi Everyone!
Welcome Back!!
In this episode we talk about the new Black Fx Trimmer launching on July 1, 2020!! As you may have seen at the end of last year, the black fx CLIPPER was a huge success entering the lives of many barbers AND stylists. People loved the graphite fade black and locking detents that made the steps so easy to follow. A few months later, we decided to also launch a matching trimmer to complete the combo. ALSO, equipped with the LATEST 2.0 graphite blade and amazing cordless 2 hour runtime. I'll talk about what it felt like to have this opportunity, unboxing of trimmer, zero-gapping option, & a special message waiting at the end for you :)

Which of the 3 color trimmers would yall suggest for facial hair shaving(not thick except moustache and chin being slightly coarse)prob 2-4mm growth and if wanting a sharp outline for moustache and goatee shaping? Looking at either silver or gold but just found the blackFX trimmer which due to color is more appealing

Sadly, US and Europe market run differently. The best way is to find someone who ships out the country from USA. That’s what all my friends do that are from Europe. Idk where they buy from tho but there’s def some distributors out there who will ship further away

Hey sofie ! Quick question. I have the gold fx pro clipper. With the flat fade blade UK version. The blade gets hot , not burning hot but the cliënts notice. Just wondering if its normal. Because my mate has the same clipper and his one does not get as hot as mine does. Greetings !

My box for my pro black clippers doesn’t have the Ferrari logo, instead there’s a sticker in the same spot that says “babyliss pro certified product”, any reason as to why there’s no Ferrari logo ?

When will the graphite blades be in stock? The blades are sold out on all of the Barber supply stores. I just purchased the red and gold pair and I wanted to try the graphite’s.

Trimmer is great to remove hair .. it’s gona leave it at a small stubble. Unless u finish off with a foil shaver for smoothness and flush with the skin

yes, you can put the graphite blade on a gold trimmer. You would just be switching the blade style and the color of the body. It'll still be a gold fx trimmer. 😂

So if I bought this from the US (120v) and wanted to charge them in AUS (240v) where I live. Do you need the a power converter? Or will it change it self to the high voltage?

Hi Leo!! This particular color way will come with a deep tooth blade, same as the silver FX. The gold model comes with a different blade. Good thing you asked about this.. because my next Wednesday video actually covers the differences of the blades for this trimmer and model number for each so people know what to order. Fine tooth, Standard tooth, and Deep tooth. 😄

Which trimmer blade stays cool and which trimmer doesn’t snag hair. I have heard complaints that these trimmers irritate the neck because of the lack of power. What are your recommendations to address these issues? Thank you 🙏

They all same power so they shouldn’t snag. You may be hearing it from someone who hasn’t set their trimmer blades correct, too much hair build up inside, or they might have a defected blade and needs it replaced. To answer your question, any of them would work out depending on which blade you prefer.

Hi there! The black and gold trimmer that you are seeing here comes equipped with a deep tooth blade yes. The FX trimmer and skeleton fx is the same thing. Sorry it gets confusing it’s just that when people talk about that particular trimmer most people know it more as a skeleton model because of the missing front that allows the blade to be more exposed. Glad you’re branching off into the cordless game because they are quite incredible these days(:

Black clipper has graphite fade blade. White has regular gold taper blade. Same for trimmers. Black is graphite. White is gold blade

It’s preference, but the black fx (clipper i think is what your talking about?) has a newer graphite fade blade, but also the new trimmer coming out has an updated graphite blade as well with a deep tooth that people are excited about. That blade came with the silver fx trimmer!

I only spray babyliss disinfectant/lubricant all-in-1 spray before and after clients. I don’t feel the graphite needs oil as compared to older models with regular metal blades that dry up

Basically what happens is the high quality material of graphite as they rub together, doesnt get dry like older model blades. Self-lubricating like they stay moist.
