Must Have Equipment After Spine Surgery 

Here is the suggested equipment to use after spine surgery.
Having equipment after spine surgery is necessary to help with every day activities and adhere to restrictions including no bending or twisting after surgery.
A reacher and grabber is great for trying to pick anything up off the floor or get items from hard to reach places. Use a reacher to avoid bending or twisting when trying to grab items.

A raised toilet seat is a must have to get on and off the toilet after surgery. Low toilets can be painful and difficult to get down to which is why I recommend getting a raised seat to put on your toilet. I would make sure the raised toilet seat has handles to help with holding onto something for safety.

An ice pack after surgery is also necessary to help control pain and inflammation. Usually your surgeon will send you home with one but I recommend one that you can velcro and strap to your body so that you can walk and move with it and it stays in place.
