I’ve been following you and I love your cabinet making! Your humor is refreshing. I really like this video. Like to see more on cabinet building! Are you thinking of doing some lives? Thank you from Tony from Pasco WA.
Been waiting for you to come out with a new video! Going to use a couple of your links to purchase some new tools….keep up the good work from a fellow NC neighbor👍
While your Benchmark squares are nice I find that that I like Starrett squares, made for machinists, and you can get blades that interchange into it with lengths of 6, 12, 18 and 24 inches, possibly even longer but I have never had the need for anything longer than the 24 inch. Yes, they are more expensive but quality and accuracy are paramount in the machinist trade, Mitutoyo squares are much the same, they have precision instruments and are a little less expensive than Starrett. (I'm a retired machinist.). I also like the Starrett machinist's squares but they are not adjustable with respect to blade movement but are highly accurate, usually within 0.001" per foot or less.
I would love to make more videos but unfortunately I do have a full time job building cabinets for contractors so it’s hard at times. I’ll try to get better 👍🏻
@@eastcarolinawoodworks Understood, love your work and videos you bring a special character to the presentation. Have a very Merry Christmas and a great 2023
Thanks to you I just built 15 cabinets for my kitchen remodel. Your style of building a rock solid cabinet made sense to me. I’m a finish carpenter but I had no cabinet building experience and you made it possible with your way of teaching. Thank you. Since you have a great channel and can reach alot of people,in your next build series can you stress the importance of left and right sides so a beginner won’t be left with pile of expensive plywood they can’t use. Not a big deal til you start dados and drilling pocket holes … thanks again
Great video I just found you today on RU-vid.I love the tools that you were talking about. Your shop looks amazing! I had to subscribe have you done a shop tour video?
Coming up to the 47th anniversary of the USA going metric (preferred), and you are still using inches. And, worse, fractions. Do you have plans to change to your national standards?
Humor and voice over is considered being a ripoff? I guess the other big woodworking channels mimic him too. Sorry you feel that way but thanks for the feedback 👍
I had a bad feeling that you were going to add the canned youtube music in between each of the five tools. Thank goodness you didn't! I was able to watch the entire video without getting completely annoyed and having the click off to another video.
1. A good wood 4' or 6' level is god for set up. 2. Jap pull saw - agree.. 3. I can use a cheaper counter set and the are good. 4. Have 1 good multi square and that's all I need. 5. These tape measures are great...
