We must keep calm and remember the size of the rebuild that Tim and J-Lo have got to do. Yes we gave got some good players in but we still have alot more to get and alot of deadwood to get rid of. Patience is needed as we slowly repair the damage that Moyes did to the squad. Love the channel. IRONS!⚒️⚒️⚒️

We won every single pre season friendly under Avram Grant and we know how that season ended, the real action starts in two weeks and it's normally Christmas when a clearer picture emerges, patience is needed

Mark. it's also preseason for Palace and Wolves. I can see Soucek and JWP carrying on in mid field for the near future. We have a poor midfield and our first game will be a nightmare.

I can see patterns! Yes, it’s not consistent. The press is working, at points. But the team have to press as a whole unit. Never gonna happen with Zouma for a start. We should just bite the bullet and agree a retirement package. Palace had 90% of their first team. We didn’t even have 50%. Plus we’ve added Fullkrug, Rodriguez. We will start a little slow, but progress will be steady as the players get used to each other. As much as anything, JL is testing player adaptability along with intelligence to deal with formation and tactical changes. Some are coming up very short.

Dont be silly was always gonna be a difficulty during pre season we was gonna lose like we will do against villa and maybe heavily gonna be a struggle for the first lot of games until we are proper on board pre season worries seem like a streamer issue for content don’t be fickle

Worryingly Kilman looked suspect in his defending as well. Supposedly one of the answers to our defensive problems. Hopefully you are right Mark and it was just players still transitioning from one system to a Lopetigui style of play.

Change of system does create issues, and does take time, but deficient defense is a worry. Kilman easily beaten by Edmound was concerning. Danger of critic Soucek and Coufal may overshadow the defense problem, which is far more of an issue.

I think coufal wasn't as bad as Cresswell who was awful. 1st half we played well kudus stand out again, kudus was lost in 2nd half so was the rest of the team.

We only have two weeks. Moyes always blamed slow starts on lack of fitness, we now have lack of players also. It’s right to say don’t panic, but you can quickly get rooted in the Prem by October if you start poorly making the season a long, ugly slog. Need to get a wriggle on pdq ⚒️

Watching both friendlies I think lopetegi will try and save face and walk away from this job. Moyes has left us in a worse state than I thought. It seems an almost impossible task to start right from scratch and get a team together. It's clear most of the Moyes players need to be thrown out. We clearly don't have a defense to start the season with and that includes kilman.
