With the Alaska cruise season starting soon, we thought we would give our tips from when we did ours in May 2023. It was by far the cruise that took the most amount of planning and research but it was also our favourite cruise we have done so far
Hope this helps anyone thinking of/or already booked on an Alaskan cruise and gives you a few ideas on what to do to make the most out of this amazing adventure

I literally have this cruise booked for the first week in May 2025. Same ship. They now do Skagway instead of Sitka. Your videos for tips and what to expect are fantastic

Come to Moray Scotland . We have dolphins , orca, salmon,ospreys and huge array of wildlife 😊

Recommend if you do another Alaska trip do the cruisetour it’s usually 7 day northbound cruise then a train to Denali National Park Park for a couple of nights then fly back from Fairbanks- we went in September and the fall colors were amazing and we got pictures of the Northern Lights from Denali and Fairbanks! One other thing when in Sitka don’t do the train but rent a car and drive into the Yukon we went 100 miles in and was back mid afternoon in plenty of time to be back on ship!

Hey guys. I'm on Discovery Princess to Alaska . Same itinerary except we are calling in Skagway instead of Sitka. Doing the train excursion there. I think I have watched nearly all the videos from your cruise and really appreciate all the tips and commentary. You guys are a delightful couple, and I LOVE your British accents...almost sounds Scottish to me??? But what do I know...I'm from East Texas...lol. Thanks again...Happy Sailing!

We enjoyed your whole series on the "Love Boat," Kev and Stacey. I remember you referring to the show from the 70's about that! 😁😁You mentioned you hadn't seen it because of your age and I thought to myself, who hasn't seen that! 🤣🤣We, as well as most TV sets back then watched faithfully. Loved your time in Alaska and we hope you enjoyed your last trip back to the US. We look forward to some of the videos coming soon! Love you, Stacey and Kev.

Hi guys, tnx for this video. I did see all the videos of your cruise to Canada. I'm going on a 15 day cruise with the Grand Princess May 22nd. Binoculars are a must! I'm cruising solo and had a nice deal for North and South trip in one. If you are on a budget book an airbnb in Vancouver. The cost of a taxi are way more less then the cost of a hotel near the cruiseport. I booked all excursions Sorex and 1 with Viator on the day before the cruise to see some of Vancouver. Your videos have given me lots of fun and I'm so exited! Less then 90 days to go ;)

Hi Kev and Stacy I think this might’ve happened very recently, did you hear about the cruise passenger that took a puppy from the sled dog excursion? I think she hid the puppy in her coat and then tried to board back onto a cruise ship but she was caught with a puppy. What was she gonna do with a puppy?! Now she has ruined the excursion for everyone. The sled dog company said that they will not allow passengers to interact with the puppies. And that passenger has been banned from all cruise ships not just the cruise ship she was on. I think she got a fine, not sure how much it was, but I think she should’ve got gel time too. There’s always someone out there that will wreck it for everybody.

Sorry but wow, what an absolute idiot!! How on earth did she think that was acceptable or that she could get away with it. What a shame she's ruined it for everyone else now too 😔

@@OneCouplesAdventure hello again. I found a video from JJ Cruise that details the person that stole the puppy. The video from JJ Cruise is titled I was filmed in a washroom on a cruise ship. I know it’s a really weird title, but he does explain about the cruise passenger that stole the puppy and Alaska.

I did a 14 day land and sea with Princess. They were amazing. Anyone asking me about Alaska I Always say Princess. Great tips. As always thank you for your hard work and doing this for everyone. ❤❤

Hi Kev and Stacey. Just booked an 11 night cruise to Alaska for august 2025, so I'll be revisiting your videos for tips on excursions. We have both glacier bay and hubbard glacier on the itinerary. Sail from and to Seattle. May i ask, is it worth staying in Seattle for a couple of days before or after cruise, is there enough to see. Also what do you do with your luggage once disembarked from ship if hotel check in isn't till afternoon?.

Hi Elaine, we loved Seattle. We are glad we had a couple of nights there after our cruise as we thought there was plenty for us to do. When we disembarked the ship we went to the hotel and they stored our cases for us until we could check in
