Seward Alaska Surf Fishing 2024 Seward Alaska, B Outdoors Alaska Heads out fishing on Super Bowl Sunday and only have approx. 3 hours to Fish. The Weather is Snowy but warmer Temps. We explain what hooks and Gear we use to Catch Fish.
We fish on the Beach on Lowell Point State Park. It was a great time fishing with my Son and look forward to many more trips with Family. our most Common Fish Caught on Lowell Point is Grey Cod and Halibut. If you have any questions or comments, please message us. The Day we fished happens to be one of the worst Tides to fish in and without More time I was very happy with Results. We usually use Both Cast Fishing and Drone fishing in this location and Either way works Great.

We went out 200 my Son usually just cast as far as he can we have a video on how to set your poles up to cast as far as possible and we catch them as close as 50 ft. We can usually catch them and we don’t always use drone my son is very against using Drones. That spot it gets deep really fast. In summer we also catch Black Cod 30 ft out. They are very good eating. Thanks again if you have any questions please ask that’s why we do this.

Jadi terkenang kembali tahun 2013 saya sama suami ke Alaska dan makan king crab di Kecikhan . Terus kapal pesiarnya mendekat ke salju yg berjatuhan dari gunung. ....naik kereta api....sepanjang jalan pohon 2 tertutup salju. Terus naik bus . Pas busnya berhenti masuklah anjing 2 besar ( hasky) ke bus kami . Kenangan yg tak terlupakan.

@@FISHH00KS that is so sweet I just bought a new splash 4 this week and almost went that way but I have lots of supplies for splash 4 If you are heading out after you get it I would love to meet up and compare them. The drone is a beast and 2 bait drops is awesome maybe we could shoot a video while we check them out. I just about bought that exact drone on Tuesday it is probably a better drone for us and our channel Congratulations if you go fishing on Kenai Peninsula I would love check it out let us know if interested BOutdoorsalaska@yahoo.com or BOutdoorsalaska on Facebook I’m excited for you. Nice! I was wondering about the cod. I used to catch a lot of them out of Homer in the 90's. They had so many worms that they were not worth keeping. How are the cod you are catching? I grew up in Anchorage. In the 60's my parents left a trailer at Seward all summer and we used to come down every weekend. The campground was only about 150' from the harbormaster office where all the tourist shops are now. While were were there in the summer I cleaned salmon at the docks for the fisherman that caught them out on boats for 25 cents each!!!

That’s a awesome memory to have The Grey Cod have a few worms but not to bad. homer pollock make me sick they are to gross for me to mess with. It seems every thing has some worms but they come out when soaked in salt water for a couple hrs. It’s much Better than the Spit!

Thank you for sharing your video on Facebook. Wow, I never knew the tide got that high! The only thing I've ever caught there was, I think those tiny rockfish. Nice to know you can cod and halibut there.

Yes it’s good and deep major issue is rocks and loosing your hooks with lots of snags it’s good rock fishing and Salmon but be prepared to loose some gear some people love it
