This really works. I’m on vacation at my moms and had the regular silk elements spray without the olive oil bottle that’s been under the cabinet for probably 10yrs. I used that and it worked perfectly
Listen!!! I just wanna thank you Ms Lady you saved me from pulling all my hair out seriously. Ladies this really works I definitely recommend this from my own experience..thank you again!❤
Came back to this video to say she told no lies. I'm over wigs and I like to change my look too much for sew ins. I've gone back to old school glue ins but figured by now there should be advancements in glue removal😂😂. I bought this product off Amazon and she is right. After massaging it into the tracks, let it sit for about 5 minutes, the tracks slide right out! Thank you for this recommendation!
Oh, came back to comment that while this video mentions the olive oil version, which is what I ordered, but Amazon sent me the coconut oil version. My point isI don't think the oil type matters. The products work.
Girl you totally saved my hair! I had Pantene heat soray on hand & used it after a bottle of super glue exploded & a ton got in my hair! It came out so easy! Thanks for this video!
OMG! You are a lifesaver! Wasn't paying attention. Picked up the wrong bottle and accidentally put weave glue all over my daughter's hair. I had no clue what we were going to do. Saw your video tried it and it worked. GOD BLESS YOU!
Yes i used G2B spray under my glue in and i will NEVER do this again. It's never been this much of a struggle to get glue out of my hair. Also the G2B spray dried my hair out so bad and made it itch like crazy
Girl! This was a game changer! I have hair just like you and everything I have tried would take my hair out! Only couple of strands came out! Thank you so much for that hack! I used the Garnier Fruitese heat protectant with Aragon oil worked like a charm!
This is similar to when you get gum stuck in your hair , you can apply hairspray to the gum and it will slide right out. Great hack! Thanks for sharing 🤗
Peanut butter helps with gum also, I know most people might not want to use peanut butter in their hair, but it works! My mom tried it on me when I was little kid. I went to school with gum in my mouth and woke up with gum all in my head🤦🏽♀️😂
Girl!! Thank you! I have alopecia and I have trouble hiding it. I hate sewing in tracks and I don't like wigs. I will try this. I just like my hair to feel free and all that other stuff plus hair caps and nets glued to my head would feel so heavy. Thank you!
Decades ago when I used to glue in my tracks I used baby oil to remove it. Thinking about trying tracks again just for a change up in styles. ❤might need to check this method out.
Thank you so much !! I lost a chunk of hair, so like I have like a section this way shorter than the rest of my hair and so now I use this and I didn’t lose any hair. Thank you so much.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Did you ever try using just olive oil like you originally heard? It costs a lot less and comes in a spray can, too. I may try that first unless I hear this is much better and worth the price difference. Thanks for the tip on this!
Yes! I have tried just regular olive oil, it makes the glue kind of a goopy/tacky texture and makes for a big mess and is hard to get out. It’s definitely cheaper, but honestly the heat protectant spray is definitely worth the price to me! Hope this helps ♥️
TIPS FOR THE BEST RESULTS: *Spray along track wefts before removing from your hair *Once tracks have been removed, saturate hair COMPLETELY- if the spray ain’t dripping down your neck, you didn’t use enough sis! 😂 *If you don’t want it dripping on your face/neck, you can cover with a shower cap or plastic head covering (grocery bags work just fine 😉) *If it dries out, re-saturate! *The longer you leave it on, the easier it will be to comb out! *Be sure to massage the spray into your hair to make sure it gets the best absorption! Let me know if this works for you! 💕
Im trying heat protectant and regular olive oil, AND dollar store conditioner. I accidentally put soooo much glue on my real hair 😞. Im letting it soak in, but i can say that when i added the heat protectant on the conditioner and olive oil the most stuck parts started to slide! I know its gonna be a goopy mess but i dont care as long as it comes out.
I hope this really works. I'm going to do a blend in tomorrow and I need something good to take it out. I been doing blend ins on a off for 20 years. I've used isolpus oil sheen hair spray. I've used hair conditioner I've used olive oil, and all types of other oils and nothing really really hit the spot. I need something to have them slide out real real realll good lol. I'ma try this
I don’t suggest applying that bond to where it hits your scalp.. your hair is on the thinner side so maybe try braids then adding the bond.. great video though! I needed this so I can take this glue out of my hair tonight
Do your thing girl. I have a lot of hair but it is fine textured. I don't trust sew ins and am weary of braids causing tension and ripping out my hair. I'm doing a glue in tomorrow.
Olive oil is cool, but it gets sticky which is a pain lol! The reason I use this instead is because it kind of dries up the glue and doesn’t cause a sticky mess. I’m telling you, LIFE CHANGING! 😅
It helps, but the glue gets kind of a goopy/tacky texture when it’s mixed with straight olive oil so it becomes almost harder to get out of your hair and it’s a big mess lol
@@mandinicki4246CORRECT THATS MY CURRENT ISSUE NOW , NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THAT PART OF IT LOL SO HOW THATS MY QUESTION HOW DO I GET THE GOOPY MESS OUT OF MY HAIR I HAVE THICK HAIR AND HAVE WASHED LIKE FIVES TIMES STILL IN THERE 😩
Other people have shared with me other heat protectant sprays have worked for them, so it’s definitely worth a try! This has just always been my go to 😊
The glue doesn’t come all the way off the tracks, unfortunately 😣 but the spray does help loosen it up, so I just kind of pick it off and it will come off in little strips if that makes sense!
