Must See in Puglia Bari Vecchia Pasta Nonnas & Monopoli
Bari is the capital of Puglia and a must see in Bari is Bari Vecchia (the old town. It is famous for the pasta nonna's making pasta (orecchiette) in the narrow streets outside their homes. Bari Vechia (old town) is a must see at night, watch how the town comes alive after dark. Bari is a big city with lots of shopping, a castle and a port town. So much to do and see. Another town worthy to visit is Monopoli. We take a short trip by train to the popular seaside town of Monopoli, we wander the quant little alley ways, come across the Castello and piazzas as well as the small Port and we took a swim just outside the city walls of the historic centre at Cala Porto Vecchia. A definite must see in Puglia.
