@@mbarrow49 ADR is one thing (but getting it not to sound like a voice over requires some skill) but had we digitally inserted ourselves into old footage, that could be a demo reel for Marvel movies. The keying, motion tracking, reflections in my glasses, etc... especially for a video not many people will ever see. The only reasonable explanation here is... TIME TRAVEL!

I’d probably go back to ‘07 or when Overdrive was airing and the toys were released bc that’s when I first got introduced to PR as a young child. I vaguely remember going to Ross or some store and seeing the Overdrive toys along with the packaging it came with

Oh 2015. Back when Covid was only something nobody knew about,I wasn't in the best relationship ever,I didn't care if I graduated or not,and the world was still relatively full of good people. Now? Well,Covid is literally God now,I am in a relationship with somebody who loves me for whatever reason,I graduated twice after having a heat stroke,and now good people seem to be an endangered species. But the fact that you would actually film something saying it was already closed just to sit on it for 6 years and then release a video is more amazing than actually editing anything lol.

I swear you guys are better at using stock footage than Power Rangers ever was. You certainly captured what I'd be doing with a time machine, though. I'd just be going back to look at all of the Bionicles and stuff on store shelves. Feel like I took that experience for granted back in the day.

Love the Chronomorpher, Time Force nod. Not sure if intentional but cute Dino Charge easter egg in reference to time travel. This is my fifth time rewatching the video and I'm still looking for the SPD time travelling reference.

The focus of this video was more on traveling back to 2015 to look at the Dino Charge display at the now-gone Toys R Us in Times Square, vs really getting into every season of PR that had anything to do with time travel. But, yeah, Jerry was able to hack a Chrono Morpher to help us time travel. Shout out to Jerry for that! And the extra viewings are certainly appreciated :)

Wow thats the biggest Toys R Us with a cool fairest wheel in it. It looks like a mall. I love how you did the effects I love this Video. I wish I can go back in time for real I miss the way things were back then. I can't believe its been 3 years ago since Toys R Us closed down I wish it never did. Looks like toys r us is actually coming back all be it in a small way. Thier website is already back up and running, and they are partnered with Macy's to open toy shops in 400 department stores starting in 2022. So they'll be small sections in Macy's department stores, but at least our childhoods are getting small amount life back in them. Who knows they may eventually make a full comeback! One can only hope. Unfortunately, no power rangers toys at the moment.

@@Wolverine2sweet Doesn't look like much has happened yet. Wouldn't be surprised if the supply chain issue has a little to do with it. I was searching and couldn't find any updates on this. But I don't want get my hopes up too much, cause to me it seems doubtful that even when they do start opening these shop-in-shop locations that they'll have the cool exclusives that they had before. Most if not all of the brand deals they had were probably severed when they went out of business, and it's doubtful that Macy's will re-aquire those deals. But again who knows, if they play it right they could really bring back Toys r Us in big way.

This video really makes me miss that store. One of the major things that a brick and mortar store can deliver that an online retailer can't is the experience. From the displays to being able to talk/comment about it years later is one thing that separates the physical retailer. In response to the time travel question, this one is tricky/loaded. I got into the Japanese shows partly due to the pandemic, so I would've picked up the Legacy Zords and insist they are the Guardian Beasts and Mythical Chi Beasts.

I actually saw a video a few months ago on what happened to some of the stuff you'd see at the time square toysrus back when it was still open and sadly some of it didn't survive after the place closed, one of which being the T. rex animatronic. I can even give a link to the video if anyone is interesting in seeing it, being history on time square toysrus.

No less than three. Might have been four or five. The very top was not for the public. There was an arcade up there and whatever else, maybe for private events? You entered on level 2, there was an upstairs and downstairs for the public, for sure.

You're exceptionally good at editing, as I'm almost, ALMOST, convinced you and Mia were actually saying stuff that would happen. Most people would avoid dubbing shots where the camera is directly aimed at your faces, not Bruno and Mia though. 1:10 for example, that must have been a green screen filming Hell shot. Unless, you had planned that out after learning of the closing date, and filmed accordingly? Either way, it's great work.

I don't miss Toys R Us, as we still have them in Canada, even if it is a hour drive away. So other than pre=ordering stuff either from EB Games(Canada's Game Stop) or online. I have to drive up to an hour to either go to Toys R Us or a Walmart that carries Power Rangers or to a comic book store in that area, to get Power Rangers toys!

I really miss toy's r us 😢 I've always gone to it whenever I was in the city. I also bought some legacy toy's from there too!! Missed on getting Titanus, White Tiger Zord, Saba, and Falcon Zord though 😞. Would still want them but I know I would probably pay a crazy price for them now, ugh.

I know you miss TRU Bruno, but let me tell you as a PR fan and collector that does still have TRU (sorry). Power Rangers is not stocked very well anymore. Out TRU has 1/3 of 3 shelves and the side of an end cap with Rangers stuff. That's it. the other 2/3 of the 3 shelves and the reset of that endcap is McFarlane DC Multiverse. But I guess that's still more than Target (which we no longer have)

I miss TRU for what it was, back in the day, when it was exciting. Even when we had TRU towards the end, I was still buying things elsewhere b/c TRU never had the new stuff. Even TRU exclusives I was sometimes buying elsewhere. Back when I was buying TMNT in the 80s/90s, Toys R Us was a pretty magical place. Back then they even had an aisle for model trains.
