To the kids born in the early 2000s, Samurai was our Mighty Morphin. It took the world by storm. I remember that even in high school when I would mention Power Rangers, people would just assume I was talking about Samurai. It had that big of an impact on us.
Honestly for all the issues we had with the actual seasons of the Neo Saban era, they were FANTASTIC in promotion of the show. I was 100% aware of their seasons and they kept Power Rangers in the mindset of general media strong.
I do miss the days of events promoting the next season of power rangers. Though to be fair Hasbro bought in just before the global panini prevented that from happening. And I do miss being able to find stuff in the store, especially for a good price. Like I do want to get the Donnie/Leo set, but in Canada it's $80 and I don't know if it's worth that much.
Yoshi has always struck me as a really cool chill guy. That perfect blend of being a fan of rangers, but not over the top, but not thinking he's too good for power rangers now that his seasons are done.
Still waiting for Lightning Collection to release... Ninja Storm, Jungle Fury, Wild Force, and Samurai. I would go crazy for those. Also still need Dino Thunder Black and Yellow!
Say what you want about Samurai the show, but that era was fantastic and exciting! Product was everywhere, toys, clothing, snacks, whatever, the reach was fantastic. It really felt like Saban got the show, and new how to promote it.
Man. The series that got me into this channel! Even if it wasn't the best Saban season, I have very fond memories of it's run and that time. Glad you guys are still going
I would never forget those seasons. But Samurai is my favorite power rangers season. And I wish there could’ve been a black samurai ranger in there and that would be me. Well I made that up in my mind. I’ll never forget you Power Rangers Samurai.
Love the video like always, i wish hasbro with all their billions could put in even half the effort saban did with power rangers. Feels like the don't even care and heavily rely on the fandom to sell their products instead of any real advertising.

@@thelonepowerranger5279 you are correct ill give you that, i will say thats not exactly an excuse for hasbro, bandai America had many other product lines and still pushed out plenty of product always has full shelves no matter where i went, now as the show is concerning hasbro has many divisions to do this and billions of Dollars to do it. The transformers,gi joe and many more properties get way more love then power rangers does. Hasbro seems more interested in banking on the IP that is MMPR. Not trying to rant.
You have to look at the facts though, PR isn’t really a big brand, not big enough to carry itself and it’s company. Hasbro does care about Power Rangers, otherwise they wouldn’t be making the show or selling the toys. But hasbro has bigger things to sell and other themes to invest into. I’m not saying that it’s not all that they could be doing, but you have to think about the fact that they are doing it at all. They didn’t have to make lightning collection or any other lines that didn’t just pertain to the main show at the time and MMPR. I hope that they will be more proactive with the brand in the coming years (which looks like they will be) but I’m happy with what we have.
If it’s any comfort Bruno, even at Toys R Us Canada I’m not sure the shelves will ever look like that again :’( Your archives of footage are always my favourite parts of this channel!

If it wasn’t for power rangers samurai I would have not become a power ranger fan when I first got into it a decade ago in 2012. It still remains a favorite of mine alongside Dino charge and several other power ranger seasons too.

Great to find out about the anniversary. Samurai got me back into enjoying power rangers. Plus I finally managed to track down the series on DVD and now I have a reason to start watching them again.
Ridiculous tough choice. I love cast of both! Samurai was so legit. it felt like a genuine Samurai theme. Dino Charge was amazing too but the ending was a bit odd 😆
Fantastic video. Dino Charge was the peak of Power Ranger toys for me, I loved basically everything they did for those two seasons. I honestly wish I had bought even more at the time. The Charger Power Pack Zords, especially, were so fun.
Between those two seasons my favorite was Dino Charge. Only complaint I had with Dino Charge was they didn't keep the transformation sequence from Kyoryuger. Really wanted to see them dance.

favourite cast definitely megaforce, say what you want about the season but the cast was amazing, they had great chemistry with each other especially in your interview with them

I feel like power rangers samurai 2011 was just the same thing but an American Nickelodeon version of the Sentai shinkenger 2009 I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the shows 📺🎥
Most of this just came from our vlog channel since I know a lot of people don't know about it. I figured it'd be new for them. So much PR stuff over there that no one's ever seen. I guess I could start bringing more over here.
I remember toys r us in the US. I know on Black Friday I got my son’s Christmas shopping done and my paycheck would be gone lol. I miss making it easy to shop for my son. My son still to this day wants to go to toys r us. He misses it the most. Out of all the power ranger actors we have met. The cast of Dino charge was the most from a series we met. Thank you bring back the memories . Out of all the Dino charge toys, titano charge was the hardest
I love the throw backs, and I agree going to the toy store and just looking at the shelves always gives me some type of positive feeling never knowing what you’re going to walk out with till you see it yourself
Dino charge is one of my fav seasons! The cast was amazing and knew just how to mix serious, funny, and camp material :) Those Dino charge shirts are great, did you make those? It will be so cool to see the ranger figure collection display complete one day!!
Dino Charge is in multiple ways the better season as well as the best of the Neo-Saban era. Samurai will always have the best aesthetics to me. I even have a hoodie modeled after Red and Blue Samurai Ranger
I can't believe the show is 10 years old already... it was the first season i ever watched. I still remember that i couldn't find neither the claw zord or the octo zord anywhere ( i live in germany btw ) and then i eventually found them under the Christmas Tree. I know Samurai isn't that popular with the Fans but i can't help but have a soft Spot for it.

It's interesting how Yoshi was in the Dino Charge Black suit before officially becoming Dino Charge Blue. In a way it's kind of a reverse of how Yamato Kinjo played Kyoryu Blue then he dubbed Brave Kyoryu Black in Kyoryuger Brave. Interesting coincidence haha.
They did, it's currently in the American Dream Mall in New Jersey. It seems more like a tourist thing. I don't think they ever sell Power Rangers. Not what TRU was. 😕 They were supposed to start showing up in Macy's, but so far I haven't seen anything beyond what we showed on our vlog channel.

If you weren't really a fan, I think it'd be hard to even know Power Rangers was still on. We're in February and even I have no idea when the show comes back, which often is late Jan/early Feb. Power Rangers doesn't just have a poor selection at my Target/Walmart, it's literally not there. Not even a shelf warming morpher. Empty. Zero promotion. Power Rangers feels so absent I'm almost wondering if it's intentional...? Saban wanted you to know Power Rangers was back. Hasbro paid a lot for the brand but... uh... maybe it'll get better next year when the stuff they've been working on comes out? I think? 😕
I've been a fan since that fist episode and now have my kids into the show as well. It makes me sad that you can walk into any store that power rangers used to dominate and you can't even find there shelf. Not even in the Christmas catalogs this past year. Hasbro better have somethin in the works or they're gona lose and possibly destroy one of the best things from our childhood and loose millions of fans in the process. Keep doin what yall are doin. i ordered my power rangers tmnt crossover sets from hasbro and bbts, hasbro issued a thing in my email stating that the sets are pushed back for blue and black and be aware of gamestop, they said the yellow and pink set was shipping but, when you check order status it states awaiting product to arrive. they already claimed the money for it, but, there is no item to ship as of yet.
I finished the California wall just in time to throw it out and move! Takes a long time to do all of the scenery, but, I'm workin' on it. I think I can finish ZEO tonight.
While i love Shinkenger ‘s design and motifs more, Samurai was sadly largely derivative of the Sentai season. Dino Charge was something different from Kyoryuger - plus their cast was great! So thumbs up for Dino Charge!
I always thought the Dino Charge cast was much cooler. Seemed very goofy and likeable. Samurai was around the time I wanted to start collecting again after many many years (didnt get around to starting again until Megaforce) and Dino Charge was about when I really wanted to get the toys, but being a new college graduate, spare money just really wasnt a thing for me😅. Trying to back track now and it seems like battle
I also miss going to Toy-R-Us. If one didn't have the toy you were looking for the other 2 stores would have it. I also miss K-Mart, they always had Power Ranger toys displayed unlike Walmart and Target where they only display 1 row of the same toy

I don't think it's about when they want to. If that's the case, that's really lame... but I'm sure every store wants to deliver things you've ordered in a timely manner, otherwise that's bad for business. I'm going to guess global pandemic and all of the trouble its caused is to blame here. But, yeah, my GameStop order has been about to ship since Christmas, and the estimated date moves up every week. "Waiting for product availability." So, that says to me they don't have it yet, but will ship when they do. I did get my other GameStop orders. Maybe the container with the pink rangers fell into the ocean? 😕 And since I run this channel, I always order from multiple places hoping someone will ship sooner, and my Hasbro Pulse order "left the building" a week or so ago. As of last night the tracking said "shipping label created." So... it left? Or...? Overall I say, "It'll get here when it gets here." It sucks for me though, as someone who runs a Power Ranger toy channel and has an audience that largely cares about "first" over video quality, and in recent years I seem to find things months after the first video gets posted. So, not good news for me as a Power Ranger channel. As a collector, I can wait. (But, I also wish Hasbro wouldn't make us wait four years and counting to complete a single ranger team... SPD Yellow???)
