I am Kiwi, but with a great love for Israel through my Faith and listening to Hebrew spoken and sung. I love this man’s beautiful guitar music, and picked up at the end that he was sharing about a soldier’s inspiration taken from King David who had fought against Goliath, had witnessed death around him yet loved life in its fullness and beauty. Having danced Katonti, I also loved hearing him sing/pray those beautiful words, so, thank you so much.
Ger Toshaf from Bratislava here. Many thanks for the Yonatan - trough your composition and performance I am getting connected to HaShem. The live version with Akiva is changing me as goy into a jewish neshama. Is not exactly this the big calling to Moseh in orderr to connect nations through Torah to HaShem?
Are you going to interview Hanon Ben Ari or Nathan Goshen? Goshen would be really interesting because he became bal teshuva in his teens. And he's a pop singer NOT a religious singer.
For the gentiles and bnei noach watching, the song is "ve'hi she'amda". I don't know if Yonatan can beat Naomi Shemer for best known songs though. I guess it depends on the rules. Is it best known religious song? It could be rabbi shabzi's poem sung by Ofra Haza - im ninalu daltei. 🤔
