liznm yes! they really are amazing. all of their behavior is so fascinating. this my first time watching a nest from the beginning, when they are hatched. i’m learning so much. it’s so sad about the little one who fell.

It was their style of defense. They made it as great as the adults. They must not lie down! They have to stand if a goshawk comes for attack

It was a juvenile. I think he will not come back. I think he found easier prey for his exercise. I hope it! I never saw such a long threat. Usually it takes a fraction of a second, then they are successful. If they are not, they stay away if the prey is too big. This one was very inexperienced. A big bad luck for our third chick.

It's a juvenile goshawk. He practices!

They say.."monkey".. then they get down like one and make noises as close to a monkey as they can. We say duck and then we get down and make duck noises.

They were fighting for their lives. The goshawk was trying to hunt them both and they were able to fight and dodge the attacks.... That's fighting for your life, not click bait.

@@liznm-natur-channel By the third one being gone, that means more food for the other two. Therefore they grow stronger and healthier. There is a way with mother nature that works too benefit the whole. It's when humans interfere that the balance is upset and animals become less healthy and disease starts to affect all of them. When the weak, crippled and sick are removed, there is more for the rest to grow strong. By you shorting these films without hiding the truth of what happens, people get the chance to see mother nature at work. I've been watching your videos for ages now and you do an amazing job and show a wide range of birds of prey! You deserve recognition of some kind for your dedication and determination to produce a quality film with watching. It's not just entertainment, it's a learning experience!! How wrong you are. They keep the other bird and animals in check and keep the population healthier. It's been proven that when you remove the predators from the area, the habitat degrades and becomes less healthy. There are more sick and starving animals and diseases start affecting the rest of them. Don't think that just because it's a raptor that it doesn't have it's own enemies!!! Check out more in RU-vid for information and you'll see that they too are often attacked in the nest!!
