Dear Sewing Friends, in this video we are going to pull out our knit fabric scraps and make something beautiful! All of these are really easy to sew, and some are even no-sew! These can also make beautiful gifts and special items for you and your loved ones. I hope you find these ideas useful so that you can make something from your knit scraps as well!
STRETCH INTERFACING - the stretch interfacing I had at home was passed down to my from my mom, so there is not tag attached. I would suggest light/medium weight knit interfacing for this project, as it will add stability, reduce puckers and make sure that your applique holds on. On the store bough t-shirt the interfacing was also applied on the inside of the actual t-shirt (not just on the applique part), but that was due to embroidery on the animal part, and I am assuming they tried to conceal all of the threads. Therefore I only added interfacing on the actual applique. Here's a knit interfacing that might work for this project - Pellon EK130 Easy Knit Fusible Interfacing 20'' White (www.joann.com/...)
