when the host explained about System verilog is usefull for design verification role but mosts here the code will be arround 80% of work because they will use verilog to design becasue verilogis basically used in most for creating netlistls and rtl the other role is more into verifiy the design of that rtls but the skill that are to be requried to workas verification eng are SV, uvm, and also having knowledge on protocals in vlsi industury basicallly protocalls are requried for rtl eng as well Hope that helps . BTW good work on podcast helps in figuring out a lot of thing
Do usa only prefer coding jobs in electronic industry.. Or there are hardware(manufacturing type) jobs available.. Provided we don't learn verilog Or any coding language. Can we get a job easily??
Yeah it's very easy. I mean you don't have to lift a finger or use brain. It'll be so easy that once you think of it, you just get the job. I hope you understand sarcasm.
@@azzymlbb5811 lol.. Was looking for serious answer though.!!. I mean without coding.. What is the scope of hardware in usa.... We all know all Asian countries have a lot of scope.. But dont know much about USA.
@@hello-ix3pd if you don't like coding, you can get into simulation, emulation, testing, post silicon validation, pre silicon validation, etc. You'll survive somehow without coding too.
I'm going to NCSU this August and specializing in VLSI design verification. Yudi, can you please tell us how is the job market for Design Verification in USA?
I actually heard there is less scope for good career if we choose ECE or its specializations as Major in USA .So then, I switch my major to Data science even though i'm lean towards ECE. Can you suggest something regarding this Yudi. As I already switched my visa interview with DS as major in next week .
