When the Bible refers to the "world," it includes the overall culture and systematic way of doing things. That said, ALL of this culture is evil because it does not follow the heart of God, according to the Bible. Black people should not be said to be more evil than the culture in which we all live.
Of course what passes as 'black culture' is demonic. Anything that promotes indecency, immorality, crime and violence is NOT of GOD but of the DEVIL himself.

Yes, and Obama was an 'idol' set up for people of color (Blacks) to have a person who appeared or seemingly looked like them; in turn, they gave Blacks a temporary Savior. A Savior who did NOTHING to put in place while in office rules/regulations for police departments in the United States to be more restrictive before firing to kill Blacks (who were targeted) continuously. During the years that Obama was in office tragedies of killing Black people rose and nothing was done to lessen the results.
There are videos out there where they translate Barrack Obama's name from Arabic which went something along the lines of "lightning falling from heaven..." pretty much what the bible described satan when cast from heaven.
I agree with you. The black people did take a shift in the wrong direction. Obama was not placed there to help us, but yet to divide us further than we were already divided. It scares me that people overlooked it and have not gone back in history to do their research.
The Lord has dealt with me on how I viewed other races. I was making our race an idol and he said to me clearly one day “they are my children TOO”. I was shut up and corrected. Thank you for this timely word, we have a lot of unlearning to do!!

I used to be super pro black but as I came back to Christ I started to see the issues with that. As Christians, our identity is in Christ. Not our race. We have become so prideful and unforgiving because of our race. I remember a couple years ago seeing a framed poster in walmart that said " I wasn't born black, i was born lucky" or something a long those lines. I was so weirded out seeing that. Following black culture is leading a lot of folks to promiscuity, new age spirituality, and ungodliness. Be ye separate.
Specifically I’m Haitian and this is exactly how I feel about our culture. A lot of the things we’re so proud of is literally trauma and abuse. It’s actually quite terrible.

He had so much to say and told me the time will come where my ancestors will take away everything I have if I don't do what they want. I then asked myself why would my people take away what I've worked hard for!!! He said for me to connect with them it will cost me (63 000 ZAR)! Money I don't have. I’m not a Black person nor very educated on black culture though was very touched by your passion and conviction in this video. I related a lot through this video due to coming from West Virginia a conservative culture and Appalachian culture where we are taught to suck it up and be a tough person. There is a point where it turns into abuse and not bringing God into the lesson to teach the children. Glad to be blessed asked to have watched your video.

Amen. Even apart from race it's all over the culture from Halloween to politics and music, artists like Lady Gaga even before Taylor Swift, singing "born this way." It's all a lot of methods the devil uses to keep people from Christ and to get Christians outside of God's will. I think another aspect of that is placing too much emphasis, potentially on ancestry. For ex. It's trendy for white people now to claim the "old religions" which just means paganism, really. So non-Christians are worshipping ancient gods of their ancestors, but it doesn't have to be that crazy to be wrong, it could be wearing a bracelet or a necklace tied to that stuff, basically charms and amulets, that street of thing. It's all demonic, it doesn't matter if it came from Africa or Iceland, of it's not Christ-centered it's wrong. And I think a lot of believers get mixed up in that stuff because they're told it's their roots. But we're a new creation in Christ. It doesn't mean having to get rid of everything, like recipes or a work art or whatever, but I really believe we've got to test everything against word and yield to the Lord Jesus Christ and to what the Holy Spirit reveals in this hour. Because the world is just getting louder and more outta line and there's a lot of worldliness and mixture going on in the church. Another problem for white culture is many have been made to believe we have to accept all the LGB stuff. And while we can always accept people and lead them to Christ, there shouldn't be an LGB church anymore than there should be an adultery church or an idolatry church. We can't just affirm a lifestyle of sin because folks have been told that's just who they are. We all need to bring that to Christ, to receive help for it, whatever the sin. Otherwise, what's the point of church It's just no different from the world, then.
Martin Luther king once said that "one day they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character". Now hip-hop culture was made popular for the exact opposite of MLK's message. To destroy ones character. To pollute the minds of the weak. To be inherently disadvantaged by your environment where you develop antisocial characteristics where the culture is passed on like a sickness of the mind from one generation to another. Strength is overcoming that sickness, while weakness is accepting that sickness and allowing it pass on to the next generation to continue the cycle. If this is the culture that you have established for yourselves, than Martin Luther King fought and died for nothing. If you can change your mindset, then you can change the future.

Amen! Right on point. People use the Bible to defend corporal punishment, saying, "Spare the rod, spoil the child." But the Bible also says, "Do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." I rarely hear that verse quoted.
One of the problems with MANY, MANY 'church goers' is that they believe everything written in the bible is the WORD OF GOD and that is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. This is why there are more 'Christian' denominations in the world than it have ACTUAL RELIGIONS. Imagine that! When people start to develop a personal relationship with their creator by prayer, study and meditation God will reveal HIS TRUTH to them. Until then, many people will be sheeples following the teachings of this faith or the next based on someone's interpretation of 'God's words' which defers from church to church and so it goes. I thank God that he made me realize that although I was baptized for over 20yrs, *I DID NOT KNOW HIM, the BIGGEST problem facing Christendom today* . We know a whole lot of bible to quote but too many of us DON'T KNOW GOD HIMSELF.
“Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.” Proverbs 13:24 The rod means discipline. Jesus says if someone slaps you, to turn the other cheek also. If someone steals your jacket, give them your pants too. If someone forces you one mile, then go two with them… that Scripture is in the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, etc… Whatever person exercises corporal punishment, that is their choice and what discipline/correction they receive will come from GOD/Jesus and GOD alone. Another way to say the Scripture you delivered half truthfully is stop being your children’s friends and being a pushover and letting them run all over you. If you do not discipline your children, you hate them. Please my love, you have to look up Scripture in its entirety before you make a statement. Because GOD is not a god that lies. 🙏🏾💜👑

Thanks sis for this word! I had to literally unlearn a lot of things such as “spare the rod spoil the child” Our culture takes that as putting a belt or beating on your child. The rod is a metaphor for “disciplining” our children. There are many ways to discipline a child without you physically hurting a child. I am not on the black sisterhood or the black brotherhood code. My only code of ethics and morals comes from the word of God. We have to start taking a stand. As a culture we look like the walking dead. Praying for this sick world we are living in. 🙏🏽

Wow, that’s a very good one because I’m ministered to a lot of black men and even some black women about how there was so much dollar tree towards Obama because they thought he was going to do something better and they were worshiping him and that’s when a lot of black stuff really started up until the time where BLM . I ministered to people a lot and unfortunately got into debates before I stop debating about black pride. Pride about being black is OK because because you want to be OK with yourself being in this type of world how Black people are treated. But when your prize says like the Hebrew Israelites, like to say, we are people that is over every other race in the world, that type of pride is against God. like these brothers are trying to call others to worship them and follow their examples of hate, pride, and delusion. This is making Black people blind to see the delusion that Satan is pushing out every single day.
This was so good! Another thing God opened my eyes to is HBCUs in the sense that a lot of us take PRIDE not in getting an education but in the activities we participated in. Partying, pledging, fornication, drinking and smoking. That's what we considered to be good times. Not saying these things don't happen at other universities, but we particularly hold up the black college experience all for the wrong reasons. Also, I'm not saying that everything is wrong with it either because there are good elements to attending an HBCU, but what some of us celebrate the most are the ungodly experiences that we call "fun'.

Interesting that this subject about making one's race their religion, it started in the Americas with Europe indulgence in its own race worship, using it to practice slavery and genocide,which is actually anti- Christian. Even though people,like in the South, instituted Jim Crow, and dared to call that Christian. I grew up really, really hating Christians, because of all this. Our people do a lot of talking about the negative aspects of black culture, but what are we doing to remedy the problems and issues in our communities? Seperating yourselves from the problems of your own people does nothing but continue the negativity. As christians, are we not supposed to be making a difference, a change in our communities instead of sitting on the sidelines crying about it? The only thing needed for evil to reign is for good men to do nothing. Those who advocate for our people, though some are misguided, are at least attempting to acknowledge and deal with the problems among our people. Some of you conservatives never want to go into the belly of the beast to snatch our people from the jaws of the wicked one but have a lot to say about not wanting to live around certain black people. As a christian, it is your kingdom duty, to win pookie, ray ray and sheniqua, not criticize and condemn them. The same energy and "forgiveness" you give to other cultures, make sure you bring that with your own.

I’ve said something similar in a previous conversation. We have weaponized our pain and trauma to justify toxic behavior and cultural norms. I really do pray that the mast majority of us seek the healing that we so desperately need.
This is an on point word. A few years ago I asked the Lord how is it that the elect will fall away in the end? How can we know so much about Him and still fall away. The response I got was it’ll come down to the order of our allegiances. If we identify with ANYTHING before God, we are at risk! I’m Hispanic and we go hard for our culture but it can’t be harder than the Lord! Preeminence!

Hi Lala, I am going through this situation too. This incident started Sunday morning. My mom asked in a "happy" tone "Maya you want to come to church?" I shook my head no. She manipulated the fact that that I shook my head no saying "You can't say no to God." I was actually going to the bathroom. Then when I walk out she was like "Maya, you have to come to church!"(paraphrasing) I gave her a reason by saying "No, I don’t want to come to church, because yesterday was the Sabbath." Then she said, "Why you didn'tgo yesterday?" However, I wasn't saying that because I was being "crazy" or "hateful". However, she turned it into a fighting match with me. She just simply didn't like what I said. Calling me "crazy" and called what I said "demonic". She then gaslit me by saying "Find a way to school!" "You're getting out of this house!" "I will call the police on you!" When I didn't commit a crime at all. I was trying to help her gain better understanding. Then, she just snatched my phone out of my hand for no reason at all. I tried to get a good grip on it, but she bit me to get it. Then threatened to turn off my phone service. What? Then she got so hysterical about it being her house and her rules or else. Then, I was trying to find my phone. She yelled and hollered at me to get out of her room, but guess what she ended up saying before that. She told me at first to get out her classroom. I'm like "Classroom?" That's when she started saying to get out of her room. I was still looking for the phone in the other room, and yell at me again to get out of their. I am thinking to myself "What did I ever do to deserve this at all?😞" I haven't done anything wrong. She thinks just because she's a parent let alone an adult that she doesn't need any help from anyone about the Bible or the Sabbath. However, we all still need help, because we need Jesus. That whole squabble did not stop there. Later that night, I was trying to avoid her in the house. First, I went to the washroom to hide in there and keep to myself. Then she asked " What are you doing in here?" In a very hateful tone mind you. I had no choice but to leave out if there, so I went outside to back patio deck and tried to slep there. However, she threatened me again to stop "acting a fool" or she would "take me to jail", when I did not do anything to act that way at all. So,I had no choice, but to walk back in the house. I said "I didn't even do anything!" Then she was twisting my words saying "Right you never do anything." First of all, there's nothing to do around the house, but chores. I'm treated like maid/slave. All I do is mind my own business, but she twisted that around by saying I was "being disrespectful". No I wasn't! Had no choice, but go to back in the house and sleep, but not just to sleep. I literally cried myself to sleep. 😞 It is a nightmare that I am living in, and it starting to get worse. What if I try to tell her the same thing again next Sunday? It would happen all over again. This is getting on my nerves, and I am still hurt by it. Meanwhile, she's just going along like it's just another day. Not really caring about what I said. She doesn't care at all...😢
I absolutely love this message. It is desperately needed, even in African culture. There are so many demonic and useless things that we bring from generation to generation just for the sake of culture, but it does not glorify God. Even Christian Africans can be found regarding culture that is ungodly. Lord, thank you for this message. I’m so thankful for this video. Everything you’ve said is EVIDENCE that I’m on track with the Lord! I say all of this stuff all the time to my husband and my children. I mean almost every word! My family thinks that I’m against black people when that’s false. I told them black culture is not of God. I’m for all God’s people not just black people. This video was amazing. I mean almost every word and topic. From the celebrities to how we raise our children to Halloween to politics to how these churches are using gimmicks to keep our attention and the lack of the holy spirit being present at these churches. La, I feel you. I have felt for some time that it seemed like a lot of things that were pro black were anti- Christian. It made me uncomfortable because as a black person I understand our injustices, but I love Jesus. So, slowly I have shifted away from some circles because they are counter to my values

As parents we are told not to exasperate (anger) our children, yet we are taught or told that it's okay for teachers and coaches to do so. Emotional, mental and psychological abuse has become "normal" for our children and it people really believes it makes them "strong."

Israel was the ONLY nation at that time that followed The Most High. ALL of the other nations worshipped many gods and sacrificed to them. It's how Solomon fell because he was messing with women from other nations who *WORSHIPPED* other gods. He didn't just simply fall because these women were another color or another nation. IF the other nations believe in the God of Israel they too can be saved. So, please don't try to manipulate the Word to fit your objective.

I too was a member of Delta and raised in the Black Church so I completely feel what you have gone through and have similar stories. Ive watched your teachings and you come from a point of love and understanding. I appreciate that in you. I raised my children to not celebrate Halloween but gave in due to pressures from others but now I know for sure I was on the right track allowing the Holy Spirit to guide my parenting not traditions. This one right here was much needed!!! Lala you have stepped on alot of toes wjth thjs one, but God is rejoicing. Some other things God pointed out to me after I watched this video, that we as a culture do alot. We curse use profanity and we are having alot of children out of wedlock. I have been to more babyshowers than weddings. With that said, My mom was definitely a generational curse breaker. She absolutely gave her life to Christ at the age of 20 while pregnant wjth me. She vouched to never use profanity in her household, like her mother and grandmother use to do. As a child I never heard My mom curse her children nor my dad. She never had to take a belt to me because I feared her rapture lol. When i tell my students or just black people in general that i never got a whooping from my parents, they look at me with a 3 eye. Like how is that possible!!! They think its normal in our culture to get beat. I never had a switch taken to me or stripped nekkid to get my punishment. All my parents had to do was look at me, and take things away from me and I got straight. She played gospel music in the car always on my way to school, so songs of the Lord was awaken in me before I started my day. When I get some of my students in the morning, they get out of car blasting with Hip Hop music and I am always shocked how they know more rap than math strategies being taught. I remember those things that my mom intentionally did wjth us so that she could set a new standards a Godly standard with her children. Many of us want children but are not intentionally trying to break certain habits, traditional that are ungodly. As for me and mine we will serve the Lord! Amen. Well done lala with this message.

Praise God! This was a powerful message. I have to admit there were some things that i engaged in as a young mother: Halloween, voting as my parents did, and being entertained by church services, but one Saturday morning 25 years ago the Lord spoke to me. I was raised in the church but truly made him my Lord and Savior that day and He opened my eyes to the wrongs in our community and in my home. I thank Him for opening my eyes and ears because i was on my way to Hell and didnt know it. I struggled for YEARS with the internal tension I held between Pro-Blackness and my hunger for the Kingdom of God. The Lord brought me to two passages to seal the deal for me. Matthew 25:31-46 and Revelation 7:9-10. In Matthew, with the separation of the sheep and goats, He quickly said to me, "Not everyone who is a sheep is of one race and all the goats are not of one race. The heart of those who love, pursue, and serve me will place them on 'Team Sheep'. Race is of NO consideration!" In Revelation, He again showed me His heart. EVERYONE who loved, pursued, and served Him was right where they were supposed to be: ALL together in His presence...Forever!! So, we love all, share Christ to the lost, disciple the 'found', and love who God created us to be...and NEVER allow the man-made construction of race to ever be the FINAL word!!!
The black church doesn't even talk about real spiritual warfare. They don't tell you how to fight in the spirit realm with the word of God. That's where the devil will attack you most. As above so below. Everything happens in the spirit realm before it happens in the physical.

This is interesting many Black families have Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome which is why the beatings were so normalized in African American culture. We were groomed under slavery for generations to believe that was “using the rod.” Also in slavery they would “break the child in” so that child would not “rise up” when getting whipped my slave masters. If they fought back or showed any defiance whatsoever that would mean further persecution or death. We’ve had so many mal-adaptations for survival in our culture. I know so many ppl who won’t beat or whoop their kids for this reason. Men in many cultures not just ours are taught to be calloused. Vulnerability to them equals weakness. Colorism, internalized anti-blackness & texturism is a huge deal in our culture as well. Very evil. God help America!
This is good and truly the Word of the Lord. The part about the church is confirmation for me as well. It explains why I'm so grieved with church today and find myself always unfollowing somebody. Most churches today love the culture or another Jesus. The black church culture has many deceived to worship men rather than God.

Lala this was a great video! Thank you for speaking of Mexican culture because it is very true that Mexicans widely celebrate day of the dead even here in America. I still have family who are celebrating this religiously even to the point where they go to Mexico and will keep the body in the house for a week to sleep with it in the same room and celebrate !!
