I realized the A-3 was worth remembering because on the behind the scene pictures the art director posted from the set, the A-3 wasn't there which means it was most probably edited in.. I'm seriously hooked on Bighit storylines.. they're such geniuses 😭

I think the apparition/ghost that hugged soobin is like a personification of the star which they've forgotten hemce the "remember my name" because throughout the other content they've released it was always indicated that they need to remember the song of the star and that the writing on the mirror may be pertaining to the song of the star and the promise they've made when they were kids (song=name)
Huening Kai isn't the only one to go up stairs. Soobin and Yeonjun also do in sections 1 and 3. And it looks like the same stairs (height -wise) for all three of them. Soobin sees Yeonjun standing with a slit throat, Yeonjun sees himself with those same injuries but laying dead on the floor, and Kai sees the guys in heaven (which still means they're dead). Notably Yeonjun opens that door across Kai. I think the stairs represent Yeonjun's death. But unlike Soobin and Yeonjun who get graphic images of that, Huening Kai gets something seemingly innocent looking. I think you're right that it's an illusion meant to tempt Huening Kai. Also, there's a lot of religious connotations to that sky scene. Huening Kai literally walks on water, much like Jesus. He also previously had angel wings. Considering that I think the other door is a temptation, it could mean that Kai is doomed to be a fallen angel since he has seemingly accepted the temptation by walking forward. This is also supported by the change of his white wings to black dragon-like wings, as well as that sinking camera angle you mentioned, and flashes of lightning. In the MV, when lightning flashes, the guys transform into their animated 'monsters.' Lightning is also used in the Bible to describe how Lucifer, once an angel, becomes a fallen angel. Jesus apparently sees him 'fall like lightning from heaven'. I also want to point out the water symbolism. People often say that Yeonjun is associated with fire. I think Kai is associated with water. Mostly because of this video and run away. In Run away, Kai is once again seen on stairs/steps of a ladder. Considering the pool background imagery is upside-down, even though he is going down the steps, it's like he's going up in the flipped reality. Moreover, he completely submerges himself in water. If you compare that pool imagery to the sky scene, to me, that foreshadows that even though Kai seems to be able to walk on water with his first step, he will eventually fall/drown before reaching the other side. Another, interesting thing about that pool scene is shortly after getting all wet, Huening Kai makes a gun symbol with his hands, and this distorts time around the guys. And it is Yeonjun who looks on with suspicion. I want to point out again that I think the stairs in Eternally represent Yeonjun's death. Notice that Soobin backs away from the stairs, while Huening Kai takes a step forward. To me, this means that Kai will be responsible for or tempted to kill Yeonjun. Also it makes sense that something that represents water would extinguish something that represents fire. One last water symbol is the water bottle that spills on the floor of the practice room. It makes the room look like the previous sky scene, and since it falls, I think it foreshadows Kai's fall. People have also linked Kai to the dragon, especially because of his wings and because he held a dragonfly in Magic Island. If he is, then it's interesting because while dragons are seen as evil in Western media, they are not seen as good or evil in Asian cultures. They are seen as powerful auspicious beings and can bring out both good and bad divine omens. And considering that we don't yet know if Huening Kai is a devil or angel, by his own admission, I think the dragon comparisons are fair. It's also interesting to note that dragons have control of thunder, rain, and flooding, which are things that I already associate with Kai. I have a lot more to say lol, but I've already written an essay on just Huening so I'll stop ranting.

Moreover, you can't edit Twitter posts. So if you make a mistake somewhere in the middle of a thread, you either have to live with the mistake, add yet another post highlighting the correction, or delete and repost. In Weverse, you can have long editable posts, but I haven't used it in a while. Especially because rather than responding to posts, many people just say stuff like "cheer my post" as a comment. But out of the two, weverse is preferable. I might go back to weverse when I polish other theories
Okay, so as far as I understand the timeline: In order: Nap of the Star - The promise they made as kids Eternally - What happened in the practice room Magic island - them discussing what happened in the practice room Runaway - their friendships ups and downs Can't you see me? - Them getting into a fight Angel or devil - them choosing which side to be on Puma - them deciding (probably the wrong side/ side of the cat Crown - Them coming together to fix thing and learning how to love and embrace both sides.
Maybe the good entity / girl ghost is the star from nap of star and the bad entity / other ghost is the cat? Btw great theory. I didn't know that this concept was so scary hahahaha
Girl, you have eagle eyes. I have some observations but I don't know if they actually mean something. The water bottle falls off the edge of the table right after Soobin gets sucked into his dream, before his segment, and in CYSM MV, it's also Soobin who pushes the glass off the edge of the table. To add to muzikk67's thoughts about the stairs, it also looks like not just Yeonjun and Soobin in addition to Hyuka, but also Taehyun is walking up a couple of steps in his segment when he starts to walk towards Yeonjun. It's very subtle and it might just be an MV shooting solution, but with BH, you never know. Also about muzikk67's thoughts on religious symbolism, Yeonjun in Taehyun's segment reminds me of Jesus as well. It might be far-fetched but his crown reminds me of the crown of thorns Jesus had to wear on his head when he was crucified. And Jesus died innocently for the sin of others. Also: crown. In the same scene, the way the purple blood is on Yeonjun's neck indicates his throat was slashed, the same way as it did (by itself) in the Nap of a Star MV when he met the cat. I thought maybe that shiny line to the right in Taehyun's view might be because he has the star eye, but since he's his normal self, I was like meh. But it led me to the observation that in Nap of a Star it was his left eye that had the star and at the beginning of this MV, in the animation, it's also his left eye, but then when the alarm goes off it's his right eye (and this shiny thingy is also to the right). I don't know if the different eye thingy is accidental (but BH accidents tend to be like the "accidents" of Jimin's jacket off his shoulders and Yeonjun's lip licking in PUMA, so I'm skeptical). Now this seems really far-fetched, but the cat here looks friendly to me? Usually the cat is huge and threatening, and here when Yeonjun sees him in his segment it meows and even blinks slowly, which is a sign of trust and friendship from cats. Lol, I'm such a cat person, I'll shut up now. And for Beomgyu's scene, I think the deer head and the painting on the wall must symbolize something but I can't even identify the painting. I don't know if it's on purpose that we don't actually see the antlers of the deer just the head and Yeonjun used to have antlers as horns... this might be way too much. Also that the floor is black and white checked like in the CROWN MV. Also, when he sees his tranformed self through his phone screen, that green reminds me so much of Matrix. I don't know if it's connected in any way but it would make sense since in Matrix the world which is not real is green, and that movie also has so much symbolism going on. The sign on the book and around the dice reminds me of the sign we see from above on the field and on the school in Run away MV, just there the outer one is a double pentagon and a circle and star in it, while here the outer one is a double circle with squares in it (?I think). And also in the Eternity Concept Trailer they were playing with dices, or at least dices were on the table. Also no idea if it means anything, but Yeonjun is wearing a shirt/sweater/whatever it is that doesn't cover one of his shoulders, just like in the Eternity Concept Trailer (just there it was his other shoulder). I also did some research on the Bolivia salt flat from Hyuka's scene and it's indeed like an illusion, and the world's biggest maze of mirrors. Also, when it's dried out, the surface consists of hexagons, and I read somewhere that the dice in this MV is a hexahedron, but it's way too far-fetched to say those two facts are connected. Though it's BH, the labyrinth-minded genius. Now if someone makes a theory out of my fairly useless observations, let me know, lol.
Yeah I also thought the cat looked friendly. If you look at the cat & dog mv, there's a scene at 3:15 where you can only see the member's shadows. Two of them have cat like tails. But you can't tell who it is from that scene. However, if you go to 2:00, you'll see that's it's Kai and Beomgyu when they are in darkness. I'm not sure it means anything yet. But if you remember Soobin's drawing in Run Away, he puts Kai, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu on the side with a bunch of cat drawings. I'm wondering if the two scenes are connected, and that the cat isn't necessarily evil but a symbol for the guys. I'm waiting for more proof on this though
Yooooooo I just watched Cat & Dog again, and I noticed something new. They have dice lollipops slightly before Yeonjun's rap. And Huening Kai is the only one to roll/spin the die

In the comeback trailer the cat actually has green and blue eyes, they aren't the same, the left one is green and right is blue. Yeonjun didn't freak out when he saw his own dead body, which is pretty weird, so a sacrifice he chose would make sense as to why he's not surprised wow
you are the first person who actually noticed that Beomgyu saw Beomgyu at the doors... I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!!! Yassss!!!!!!! I saw that too and honestly... that freacked me out soooo bad. Like honestly... I almost had a heart attack the first second he opened the door and when at the end with the green night camera effect he looked directly at the camera again i was like bISHHH i knew it! I have soooo many questions, i'm itchy all over! I agree with most of your theories. Also Yeonjun making a packt with the cat!?!? Wow, i did not think of that at all, but this is possible. And i literally did not see that "stick" in Taehyun's part at all!!! If it's really from his perspective... and he has an "eye ability", maybe he can see like some kind of portal or something? Bc that looks like just a stripe of light with in cinematography can be used like maybe some kind of crack in reality, or dream? Or a time warp?!?! I actually saw some video that Beomgyu could be fighting with another "dimensional" Soobin or Soobin himself. Not really sure though about that. Could be someone else though.
It is not Soobin, cuz the mysterious person is wearing the school uniform from the beginning of the MV. And if you look closely the Choi line has stripes on their sleeves. Only Tae and Kai don't. So it is probably Kai or Tae who is fighting Beomgyu
9:13 I think the reason Soobin cries when he looks at little Kai can be related to Carl Jung’s concept of puer aeternus (eternal youth). And ghostlike figure can be his soul or Anima (eternal feminine girl within ?). I got goosebumps in this scene and cried with him, as I feel I lost my childhood due to childhood traumas, that’s when children escaped to magic Island when world/home becomes a dangerous place. He may be referring to lost innocence, maybe aiming for immortality or eternal youth is ‘eternal dream’. So that they can save each other and stop yeonjun from dying. The enemy remains linear time and aim as staying young forever, eternally
another theory that goes along with Taehyun and Yeonjun and the purple pansies of "broken love" and "I love you, but I know you don't" can link to the Hanahaki Disease which is a fictional disease where the victim of unrequited or one-sided love begins to vomit or cough up the petals and flowers of a flowering plant growing in their lungs, which will eventually grow large enough to render breathing impossible if left untreated and will die. And we see yeonjun literally covered in flowers, from his back and the purple blood down his body. it also seems he has a 'crown of thorns' but its flowers, also where his horns would usually be. the pool of the purple goo/blood stuff is very distinctively different from the field of pansies which can go with the meaning of pansies, symbolising a person who is deeply contemplating their life or deep in thought, with the "sacrifice" yeonjun is theorised to make, he is cutting himself off from the members and is in his own space ( the pool of blood)
also when I thought about the pansies petals becoming distorted it reminded me of Alice in wonderland. Maybe entities are messing with them or trying to keep them apart. But i think you idea of the time going back makes more since.
I’m kinda late but the Color purple means wisdom,bravery and spirituality. It’s rare and mysterious nature perhaps causes it to seem connected to unknown,supernatural and divine. Different shades of purple have different spiritual meanings and as everyone knows white is the meaning of purity and innocence. So I really support you with your yeonjun theory! Okay...so I don't know if anyone noticed this or not...the cat yeonjun sees blinks at him. In the feline world cats blink their eyes slowly at other cats or humans to show affection....it means they trust the person enough to close their eyes!!!!!!!
