Great job documenting our track day! It was definitely one of the most exciting time I ever felt while driving a car. It’s amazing see how capable all of the cars are!
Bro, get an instructor. Car looks like it has way more power than your experience. Definitely get out there more and get experience. But an instructor will help a ton. Getting accurate speedometer and rpm readings will help when you rewatch your vids. Cars are a lot faster than 15 years ago. I have a couple vids in Sebring that might help you learn the line. I run a mix of power and momentum line. My car has a lot of grip vs hp.
Should have your hands on the wheel in the turns and only on the shifter when you are shifting. If you get a snap of oversteer in the corner with one hand on the wheel it will jerk the wheel right out of your hand and you will go for the 10 cent hay ride.
I like that NEUTRAL coasting at 100+ and then dumping it into gear mid corner. On a serious note, get a ride along from an instructor to get some tips and keep at it.
@@soflostang depending on the track, they have private instructors that will sit with you and give you advice and tips to make your lap times better and your overall driving better. Only thing I can for sure say from the video, never ever ever be in neutral. If you are slowing down you are down shifting and setting up the gear for the turn. By the time you begin to turn you need to be in gear clutch out already.
@@soflostang I'm in Daytona area. I have a Mach 1 bumper coming along with gte lights and my stop the hop kit. I'll follow your insta in the morning so I can plan a time to go out to the track with you. This was a well done video🤣 I'm about to order the osmo pocket 3 too
