Classic Muscle Style. Easily revitalize the style of your 1994-2014 Mustang's front end by dialing back a few decades with a Modern Billet Hood Pin Appearance Kit. These hood pins, available in either a chrome or blacked out finish, stick right on top of your factory hood and include the safety pins and lanyards to give your Mustang an aggressive, custom look that is symbolic of Mustangs of yore. Sold as an appearance package, these hood pins are for style only and are non-functional - the hood will still open and close with the factory center latch. The benefit of this is of course there is no drilling required, and therefore it is not a permanent modification to your Mustang.
Chrome or Black Finish. With a base plate diameter of 2.5", the Modern Billet Hood Pin Appearance kit is available in either a chrome or semi-gloss black powdercoat. Both options are quite durable and are difficult to chip or flake. The lanyard measures a foot and a half in length and adheres under the front lip of the hood.
No Drilling Required. As mentioned, this Modern Billet Hood Pin Appearance Kit is an appearance package only, meaning it does not actually latch the hood down. The hood pins install very easily using the included super-strong 3M adhesive tape. Simply measure where you would like them to go, clean the surface with the alcohol prep pads and stick the base plates on the hood.
