I love the install videos you guys make, however, I would highly suggest staying away from wire taps. More than once I've found them to be the reasons for electrical issues. They can weaken the original wire and cause all sorts of problems that take forever to find.
I bought these and was disappointed. It spreads light out too much. It only shines a light on the side of the door and almost none on the ground. Try to get OEM Pony puddle lights instead.
These shine on the door a great deal; could they be installed farther outboard so that they shine more on the ground and less on the side of the car? Looks like there's enough clearance on the far outboard side. Or, could they be shimmed to change the angle so they shine farther away from the car?
I need help, if you guys could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I purchased aftermarket tow mirrors for my 2004 dodge ram with puddle and signal lights I know how to wire the signal lights but i dont know how to wire the puddle. My question here is, do i wire it to the inside lights? I want my puddle lights to turn on if i remote start my vehicle And dim out with my inside lights If possible turn off when i lock. I need to wire them tomorrow and im lost.

Question, i just bought my first car its a 2007 mustang and it has these but green installed. Would this be street legal in Texas? Im just trying to be safe lol
The 11-12 GT is not prewired for the lights like the 13-14s are. You could hardwire them in but the install would be much more labor intensive than shown here.
