Muzan hates Doma because Doma always does things without Muzan's consent. Which shows a sign of disloyalty. Like how Doma tried to tag along with Gyokko and Hantengu even though it wasn't his mission. But Muzan tolerates Doma because he's a very powerful demon.
Another reason: Douma told his cult about Muzan (not the demon part) and told them to worship Muzan. Muzan did not like that Douma was telling people about his identity

Honestly Muzan never hated gyutaro He expected gyutaro to be an upper rank 4 but he never liked daki he only pretended nice to be daki so she could go stronger and they both could be a massive big duo but daki was a useless demon to muzan and because of daki gyutaro lost, muzan liked gyutaro but hated daki because of her weak demon strength
Nope gyutaro will always remain up 6 because he’s always inside daki meaning he would never fight in the blood battle to rank up his strength is upper 4 lvl tho stated in the fanbook
Rui is his favorite too. And he never hated Gyutaro. Gyutaro is definitely one of his favorite as he knew Gyutaro never cared about ranks and Daki was the reason he lost.

Tbh nakime prolly the most powerful demon- she could quite literally transport a demon inside the castle, then transport them to a spot in which the sun is out, including muzan, and he could stop her due to it being infinite and could keep him from her as she transports him to the sun

Gyitaru might be ny favorite demon or upper moon demon atleast cause he wasnt just pure evil like the others he was just broken and wanted to protect his sister. Same for daki she was just broken and wanted to be with her brother. There backstory was pretty tragic 😔
I believe that Gyutaro is his most favorite demon. It said this in an extra book made by the creator of Demon Slayer that he likes him bc he is serious and finds so much joy in killing humans and making them suffer. He sees Daki as just a doll to control Gyutaro

Gyokko and Nakime were demons whom Muzan favored not because they were his favourites but because of their powers which helped Muzan conveniently. Gyokko's vase added revenue and Nakime's Biwa helped in demon teleportation and Infinity Castle's functioning.
No it's gyokko his pots sell for alot and muzan uses the money to research the blue spider lily or something saw that somewhere also muzan allows gyokko to manipulate his own body and make art out of the people he kills instead of eating them

And without Tanjiro, Sabito wouldn't have the Slayer mark either. No mark + no dead calm = sabito is never surpassing Giyu Also... just because someone was skilled at a young age does NOT mean that they will get exponentially more skilled as time goes on. Muzan hates Doma, but the only reason I think he puts up with his BS is because of this fact: Doma is the one who turned Gyutaro, one of Muzan’s favorites, into a demon. And the deeper meaning is that Enmu said the upper ranks haven’t changed in 100 years, Gyutaro is officially 126, therefore around the time Gyutaro was turned it would have been close to the 100 year mark, so he would have had to ascend to the upper ranks in less than one year. So I think at a deeper level Muzan respects Doma’s instincts when it comes to recruitment, since he found a random guy on the street that became an upper rank in such a short time. That’s why I think Muzan tolerates his BS but hates his guts. He doesn’t like Doma, but he respects the fact he is so good at picking out recruits.

The ubuyashiki illness isnt poison, its a karma inflicted curse. Like they arent suffering from a toxic substance that causes your body to shutdown, they are literally suffering from "you will die at this specific age". And because it is applied through karma and not poison, it cannot be removed, because karma isnt a physical object you can just take out of someone
Akaza is never in the hated pile it’s just he knows the best way to motivate him is to not allow him to be prideful like with daki he does the opposite even though he thinks she is a stupid child

You forgot Rui and Enmu Muzan likes enmu as he said something loyal to him,He also feels bad for rui and allowed him to create his own family and no other demon had got the previlge to do that.
He also like how Gyutaro acted, acknowledging his past and how evil he was, and didnt care stating he would becomeva demon in every lifetime. Plus he was an asshole
Lower rank demon rui was also muzans favorite due to the fact that he saw the exact thing and purpose of muzan and most likely the first one to ever be close to killing tanjiro!
Nakime is his number 1, he made her a demon after finding that she would kill before her shows, he made her an upper 4 after the swordsmith village arc and she could easily be a rank 2 with her ability to tp enemies and keep them distracted with her bda, he actually hates everyone else because they were made to kill the hinokami kagura blood line and or find the blue spider lily that allows him to make demons that can concur the sun
Hmmm, hard to say with someone like Muzan. Saying if he has a favourite demon is like saying if a tradesman has a favourite tool; they’re all useful to him in one capacity or another until they are not anymore. Also, HEHE!
Read the manga, you’ll see how she could NEVER pull that off. He reads all their minds and can kill them by squeezing his hand in thin air. Also see what it took to kill muzan. Dude can last awhile in sunlight.
Not me hating Daki and loving the fact that Muzan does too. I think we'd get along quite well. I mean he might try to kill me but my immediate response to meeting new people is expecting them to be a serial killer.
I don’t think gyutaro is in the hated pile, he mainly only lost because Daki was holding him back because he was mainly focused on saving his sister than fighting Tanjiro and tengen
Douma is also his least favorite since he's not afraid of Muzan due to not having any emotion, which sounds weird since you'd imagine that demons wouldn't have fear, but everyone except Douma are afraid of Muzan
