I think MMM had done so well by that stage, RBW had paid off all their debts. They were able to invest into Decalcomanie, and it's reflected in the sets and outfits etc.
I think the way they did it is they just got the frame of a mirror and carefully placed it so it looks like a mirror, when in reality, the glass of the mirror is non existent, and Moonbyul and Hwasa are just dancing in front of each other, not in front of a mirror.
@Yihan Qin actually we're both incredibly stupid I have just noticed that at one point hwasa is looking at herself in the mirror, but when the camera turns around hwasa is now looking at moonstar. I believe they got a mirror with a green screen, filmed hwasa dancing infront of it, then moonstar, then put hwasa's recording in the green screen in moonstar's and vise versa.
mad props to the company for listening to the fans and realizing it was wrong, they shouldn't have done it in the first place but at least they can recognize their mistakes
+juree puppy In the original video that was released yesterday, Solar's scene in the elevator was showing more of a rape scene rather than mutual lust. When she was walking out of the elevator, he grabbed her and pinned her up against the wall. Solar's character was clearly fighting it and resisting and he kept going in for a kiss against her will. The fans were up in arms about it (me included) because honestly, it's NOT okay. Consent is so so important and the company decided to edit it out bc after all, it doesn't send a good message for men and women, boys and girls.

Hey, I'm not upset at rbw at all because of the elevator scene I'm thankfully really This has really shined light on the company, although at first, they didn't know it would have such a response, I'm glad that they actually read the comments, understood our concerns and made an effort to edit and reupload it even thought the views are now gone. Most companies would just leave it, they won't bother, but rbw listened, and cared for the images of our idols. I have always been impressed with what rbw does and this is really something that puts rbw in a good position RBW jjang!

The Scene with Solar was a bit confusing at first --- But when he grabbed her hand, he let go and then she hugged him and kissed him, but people only noticed her initial struggle which was a bit too much. Glad RBW listened, better be safe than sorry.
The fact that the RBW risked the garnered views from the previous video, doesn't undo the fact that SLAY is the middle name of Mamamoo. The image that the agency and the group itself portray to the public is more important than video views that sometimes dumb people recognized it as the idol popularity meter.

The company Mamamoo is with is the best, they actually listen to their fans and respect us to acknowledge what we said about Solar's scene in the elevator. Which is why will always support Mamamoo and the company, because they could of said "Get over it!", but they didnt. Much Respect!

Videos like this will always make me feel so justified for getting interested in kpop. I don’t think it’s hyperbole to call this a masterpiece. Everything in it is breathtaking. The song itself, the styling and aesthetics, the choreography, the camera work and editing, it’s all immaculate.

Mamamoo y todo su equipo de trabajo son tan brillantes que incluyeron imágenes de plátanos, uvas, naranjas y cerezas (aún en su rama) lo cual en resumen, simboliza la fertilidad, transformación, amor, inocencia (sin embargo, si las cerezas están desprendidas significa todo lo contrario) y positivismo. Una manera sutil pero bastante inteligente de darle más énfasis al concepto de sensualidad, madurez, pasión y romance. Es muy muy creativo. Me encanta.

Brightasdays Speaking from experience it wasn't that bad. In my opinion I think their Um Oh Ah Yeah MV scenes were worst in comparison because they were actually portraying sexual assault. However, I do understand that some people may be more sensitive than others so I think the company made a good choice by removing that scene.

Now my thumbs up is for Mamamoo, their music, and the person(s) who decided to re-edit the video. Some of it is still a bit creepy but the worst is gone, this is a big step in the right direction. Now, if the industry as a whole were to follow suit and embrace a higher level of ethical responsibility Hallyu would truly be one of the most important movements in history. The Korean national motto, which relates to this, 홍익인간 (Benefit Broadly in the Human World/Devotion to the Welfare of Humanity) is a big deal. Mamamoo and Hallyu Fighting!
