I got the red/black and brought it to get some of the other sections wrapped in rose colored gold ! I'm having the exhaust pips professionally painted with heat resistant paint(paint withstands heat up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit) with rose color gold as well. I test road the 2022 Hayabusa(verdict: I'm 6'3" tall and the pegs are too high for my long legs which would make long distance touring a painful experience; and even with a 40mm lowering pegs the pegs would still be too high in addition to the constant leaning over). I test road the 2022 Triumph Rocket 3R(Verdict: it's nimble and powerful, but when I road it in the rain on testing day I found that the rear mud guards were useless as I still got water and mud gunk flung up to the back of my jacket and back of my calf section of my pants in addition to the fact that on rough bumps the seat was simply too low to be comfortable). I then finally test road the 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000RS(Verdict: It's a tall man's dream bike because it's upright, doesn't make me look like a monkey on a small bicycle, very powerful, fast and nimble across corners with plush seat that is very comfortable for at least 5 hours of straight touring duration. My legs were comfortable with NO uncomfortable feelings of position and the small windscreen kept the wind off of me until I reached around 90mph then there was some turbulence but the turbulence was not painful but more on the 'non painful' irritating side. The bike can go up to 186 mph which I never tried pushing it to. MV Agusta RS comes with a 3 year 'unlimited mileage' warranty with a 5 year tank warranty and a 2 year road side assistance warranty with NO deductibles !!!

This bike will certainly turn some heads, especially if you’ve added the extra parts. Sounds good and goes like hell. A lot better of a bike compared to its little brother the 800rr.

When you are in the market for exotica, keep in mind that you don't need to swap out this exhaust. Factor in the cost of the exhaust in comparable bikes and then see what you'd rather have.

Great review, nice bike. I have a street triple rs and planning to switch to 1000rs. In a few days, I will go to test ride. Do you think that this by is ok for urban ride? I mean especially on rush hours?

Personally I wouldn't choose this bike for an urban commuter with lots of rush hour. It has a great engine but it is still an aggressive style of riding. Let me know what you go for in the end. Ride safe.

Was there any rational explanation for the strange clutch drag in neutral? Also does it feel gutless lower down the rev range as the MCN report claimed? I've owned a ZH2 and that thing just pulled in any gear from low revs. I'm considering one of these Brutales. Just wondered how it compares. Thanks.

No explanation no, it happened several times as well so it wasn't just a one off thing. Kawasakis engines are solid, ive done a review on the ZH2, and as you've said it just shoots off. I didnt personally have any issues with the low end power of this bike, but like most bikes its choked by exhaust valves and emissions, get it in for a system/remove exude valves and get it tuned and this would solve most issues if you did find it lacking. Money aside I would get the ZH2. Yes the MV looks amazing but I didn't find the seat comfortable and the basic instruments on the handlebar makes it feel like MV didn't really try to change it up from the Dragster 800RR (also done a review on this bike :). Each to their own, its your money, spend it where you want and what makes you smile when you open the garage up. Ride Safe

@@DSR1YT Many thanks for the reply. Yes the ZH2 is a class act and a fair few grand cheaper. Maybe just lacks that raw, exciting arrogance of an Italian bike. For sure the MV would please me more when the garage door opens 🙂 Fully agree that new bikes are strangled. Nowadays you have to factor in an extra grand or three for a tune and open pipes etc. Only to make it as good as a bike from 15 years ago.
