MV Agusta Brutale 675 2014.
thought I would give this Italian stallion a try,
it's just not what I was expecting,
but with only 30 minutes allowed on a test ride is not sufficient in any case.
the Seat was very firm, as was the suspension,when you hit bumps in the road it would make the throttle react causing it to be a bit jerky.
I'm sure we have all found neutrals on bikes ;-)
maybe the Engine Mode was not on the best setting for Quick shifting, or the Traction Control was the fault with the intrusion.
I have no idea, either way it didn't meet my expectations,
all the problems I mention was found on the MV site once I registered there.
The Sprag is to do with the Clutch.
the Valves may be a problem on earlier models or the 800cc version
either way not the sort of problems one should encounter on a premium priced bike.

Looks and sounds nice. You need to keep the throttle pinned to use a quickshifter... that's the whole point of it LOL might as well get a scooter if you're gonna ride around at 38mph all day

You can’t ride a bike to save your life .. I now own that bike … it’s brilliant , and it is now given some respect it deserves..

So do I- first time on the bike wtf u think he's gunna do ......trash it? Its a nice middle weight it will give a cbr600 a good run, its not the 1090rr!

That bike does sound nice! So awesome you can test ride bikes there; nobody lets us test ride here.

I think the dragster rr is probably the best looking bike ever made, I loved my 750F4 apart from the comfort and reliability 😳was a pretty bike though

the b3 675 is the bike that all nakeds copied after it was released in 2011- even ducati copied it, its a legacy design- sexiest naked, it put nakeds as the top sellers everywhere. Your Dragster is a version of it! Its why I own one.

You need to stay on the revs when quick shifting or it won’t work

keep it wide open- thats exactly what its for! Only nupties need it for down shifting!

You're backing off just as you hit it at 7000rpms. Understandable its got 83.5kw for a 675cc and its your first time ride on it- its a street version of the F3 race engine, frame is the same also and it handles superbly. My bike has 33,000km's I have looked after it good, no dramas or issues. I did put a Shorai lithium battery in after the factory one died, its never a problem for charge now. Its only fault is the cush drive design- BDS in german do a replacement thats the best fix(the f4 superbike design). See it all on the mv forums.

if your a gsx 750 fan ..WHY would you look at a brutale?? and you can't ride a bike.. IE park it in a hedge???

For a 600 it makes quite a lot of power, maybe that's why it drops valves :S

funny you travelled 60 miles to test a bike you have read all about.. with sprag problems .valve problems and as you said you read all about it....!!!
