I have had many mv agusta. The Brutale 910, the 1078rr, the Brutale 800 and then the Dragster 800. Never had any problems with the bikes unless maintenance costs were high.
So sad, such an amazing bike with incredible sound. I love MVs but the reliability is what’s keeping me from getting one right now I imagine that being a boutique manufacturer it will take some time to get it fixed and get all the parts and all of that, I’ll look out for an update and seeing you ride again hopefully sooner than later
What's so special about these bikes compared to one from a major manufacturer with a good reputation for reliability? Especially if the other bike also has great performance? Plenty of well-made reliable machinery out there that withstands enormous mechanical stresses compared to any motorbike, such as jet engines. What's the deal with this one particular bike?
@@devilsoffspring5519 You could also say what's so special about Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki,..... Everyone has their favourite bikes and brands and MV Agusta has really special bikes that no other brand has.
@@devilsoffspring5519 well mv Has a race heritage think of it as kinda like Ferrari with their heritage of racing I love mv for their beautiful designs super lightweight bikes the 675 weighed like 398 pounds wet it was super light for a 600cc bike they sound amazing and the looks are genuinely the most unique in all of the motorcycling world
@@musclecarenjoyer That's what I mean though, everything about motorbikes (and cars) is looks and power output. Nothing wrong with that, but there's also nothing more to them than that and they're still just vehicles. To get "more" of either one (looks and horses) you just need a lot more money. Motorbikes are cool though, good fun too especially considering how insanely dangerous they are, kinda like skateboarding :)
What year is your F3? I have a '16 F3 800 which has been a pain in the butt but i haven't had engine issues, yet. Did you know that ethanol reacts with the plastic they use for the gas tanks and causes it to warp? I've been using an addictive to help with this issue. Not, I'm thinking of replacing it with an rsv4 or a V4. Either, without electronic suspension. The only problem is how little they offer for the F3 as a trade in.
What’s going on mate? Would it be ok if I feature this video for a youtube edit that I’m working on? I’ll credit you with watermark on screen of course.
Hey mate, is it OK to feature your clip in a moto edit some time soon? It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name watermarked on the clip. Thanks, MM
Oh jeez I'm surprised you wouldn't crash cuz when con rod broke down, there's high chance the piston will stuck at cylinder and force the balancer to stop quickly resulting to locked sprocket and cause tires to lock and crashed.
Do all F3's sound like that or can you hear the engine going once you were able to watch the footage? I know its catastrophic engine failure, but that bike is worth fixing. Would be a great project. You could do some trick stuff like cams, springs and port & polish the intake & exhaust ports. I have a project 07 GSX-R 750 that's a total rebuild project.
@@KLin_RideSell that junk and buy a reliable Japanese bike that is as fast as this MV, handles as good, is more comfortable for street riding and most importantly very reliable.
Hello, Rider! How are you doing? We love this clip! Would it be OK if we used it in a youtube video we're making and maybe share it on our social media? We'll credit you in the video and all descriptions. Thank you! :)
I know it's hard to believe but I blown piston engine of One Kawasaki bike I owned and she miraculously get me to my destination with small engine oil left (cuz oil leaking cuz of blown piston), engine cracking like something gonna fall off but managed to take me to my destination safe and sound, I've test kawasaki and guaranteed they will take you home even if they gonna broke down.
I am or better say was a mechanic for MV,ducati, And husqw in switzrland , I never saw something like this , to be honest this model is past me I was with f4 312 and brutale etc , I dont know in US but for me for service or prep new bike for sale I always check and follow all standards even in services use the right tork on bolts mark it up as professional, sad to see this happen and hey can always happen but never happen to me
I did that once with a Ford Windstar minivan. I was curious about the top speed and got it to somewhere over a hundred mph, I honestly don’t know how fast it hit, there was WAY too much going on to pay attention to the speed, blew the engine and transmission 😂 But I got it as a beater car for $400 with over 325k miles on it 🤣
Hey friend. What's up? All good to feature it in the next edit? If yes. Mind giving me more information? Thank you! Watermark, notification coming your way!
Aww man that sucks so bad! I'm so sorry for loss. Do you know why it blew? I'm just curious if you ever figured out the cause. It sounds great, best of luck to you! Edit: It looks like you got her running again so that's great to see
6:02 he goes from full throttle to downshifting 2 because a turn that could’ve easily been taken in 6th or whatever top gear that bike has, when I’m on the highway I’m in 6th at 3500rpm cruising 65-70mph, treat ur bike good and it will last 100,000 miles everytime
@@Scythe_VoltageI know bro but sometimes it's ok to have fun and push your bike to it's limits but don't do anything stupid like sudden downshifting or staying in 6th gear redline for long time.
Huge problem is leaking oil cuz if you lose so much oil during a ride, expect engine blown up or even worse cracked transmission, broken con rod and balancer. That's why I have my gaskets replaced every 1k km or every change oil.
engine pecah tu kan? bila last tukar minyak hitam engine bang, saya pernah nampak video whyzul dia ada rescue motor stranger z800 engine pecah. masa kat highway whyzul suspect minyak hitam sikit sgt and then bila bawak bengkel, rupanya pomen cakap minyak kurang and hitam sangat which is dah lama tak service minyak hitam. klau salah punca, boleh betulkan saya ye
@@KLin_Ride blessing in disguise brother get in that engine case and learn to fix it best thing to do is learn how to open and close a block and best thing about it is you can just dead lift the engine out no special equipment to hold the engine required
Was thinking the same 😄 That engine was a worry when I was out on my Rivale because of all I had read about the engine. It worked fine those 3 years I had it though.
Sometimes its ok to have fun and go for top speeds but bike also need breaks, imagine sprinting for 40 km/h with no rests and you wouldn't even last for an hour.
Probably treated poorly. Poor maintenance, no warmup and only highway runs. Take it to the track where it belongs. But ueah they are more unteliable. But if u treat rm well thry will last
Se si sta attentissimi con la manutenzione sono dei gioielli, non si può pretendere di trattarle come le Giappo. Purtroppo sono molto delicate e costose ma hanno anche dei difetti.
Was that engine made of cheese 😂? You wasn’t even ringing it’s neck. The down shifts shouldn’t of even caused that. Shit night for you. On to the next one mate.
MV should be embarrassed. How many miles were on that bike? I wont ever buy one until they either give you free engine replacements or have enough people buying their bikes to demonstrate they fixed their issues. The latter option seems less likely. Their WSSP results dont mean anything
What did you end up doing with the bike? Buying a new engine? If so how much was the engine and was any costs covered by warranty? I have been eyeing a brutale and this is sad.
feel like this white engine can't play high/full for long time mostly on this 3 cylinder engine 675/800 , if black engine maybe can that engine already improve ,other youtubers also blow up this white engine.
You all think speeding is cool on a motorcycle but stopping for a dear or someone who runs a red light while you are cruising around 90 to 120 mph. And you die
