Margareth, this is a very difficult question. Tere's no a winner, the Ducati is like Ferrari, MV like Lamborghini, both made top level motorcycles. Ducati today is a big factory, with more budget and more technical know-how (is pluri-winner in WSBK and MotoGP); MV is a small but same storical brand, today a little bit less advanced in tecnology but with a really great fascination. F4 and Panigale - for me - are the most fashinating sportbike in the world.
My kids loved this video when they were young. On saturday mornings they would watch it over and over again. Today my son asked about it again while he is 13 now 😅😅
I love this video-great riding at the track-I can see that there is skill involved there knowing by heart all of that track and what to do every second-I have a 2004 MV Augusta F4 750 and I have not plated it yet but I will be out on the streets of Indiana this spring and will try to behave myself and do the speed limit

'cause we got two MV F4 1000 R, one for the Dyno and one for the track. Anyway the F4 RR and F4 R have similar engines: 174,93 CV @ tyre the first, 166,96 CV @ tyre the second (Dayno say).
I don't know about Italy but in India if you want a new MV F4 you have to sell your house, car, farm.....whatever you have... Some here have that kind of money but spend it on cars rather than bikes.
The bike in this clip is not modified, the real speed is 289,7kph @ rev limiter. Can you beat the BMW? I don't know, but I think it's a great dare. Actually in Italy the fastes stock are BMW (more used) and Ducati (more expensive and modified).
la 1078 è una bellissima moto, ma di certo non facile. Quando abbiamo fatto la prova al Mugello ha fatto impazzire Casoli (al quale le giapponesi facevano cgr), perché è quella che ha l'impostazione racing, le altre sono addomesticate. Resta il fatto che non è una moto piacevole per girare su strada, impegnativa, dura. Ma per questo anche molto affascinante. Secondo me se ti affidi a un buon tecnico di sospensioni, tipo Gubellini, riesci a farla più facile. Cmq è una bellissima moto , da tenere.
Hi Margareth. I don't know the price in your country, in Italy F4 in standard version is not more expensive the other sportbike (15.990 euro); the F4 RR is a bit more expensive (23.200 euro).
di preciso non ti so rispondere come si fa, perché è una cosa che mi viene in automatico. In scalata comunque si mixa un po' tutto, gas, cambio, freno davanti e freno dietro, e dipende anche dall'asfalto, dal grip che c'è e se sei inclinato o meno. Comunque anche quando dai il colpetto il freno è parecchio pinzato, sennò, come dici tu, si va dritti.

it looks like 303 kmph look closely, at the second before the video stops i says 302 - 303 and suddenly jumps to 309. think the 303 was edited to 309......
La Drift HD 170 Stealth, primo modello (vedi actioncameras.it). Adesso è scontata, perché c'è il nuovo modello più compatto. L'unica cosa che non mi piace della mia è il microfono, che distorce. Il suono che senti l'ho preso con un altro registratore e poi montato. Nelle moto il suono pulito è la cosa più difficile.

si esattamente, ogni tanto lo do anch'io solo che quando do il colpetto diminuisco il tiro sulla leva del freno ed ovviamente freno meno in quel momento. in pista come si fa?? non rischi di andare lungo? probabilmente sbaglio la tecnica.
MV run in World Supersport with F3, but (true) is not a winner (best result 3th place in Donington, Rolfo). In SBK may be the F4 in the 2015. Anyway it's not a really advanced machine. The big price is justified by quality (Brembo, Ohlins, Marchesini...) esclusivity, and small production series, not CV only.

la velocità massima indicata però è di 303km/h.....si vede chiaramente in un frame...e nel frame successivo è diventata 309km/h....un boost che entra solo sopra i 300????il dashboard della moto non c'entra niente...magari quello del pc.....;-)
I say bravo to anyone who can get an F4 300kph on that straight away. And for any kids that don't understand what false values you can get at that kind of speed over bumps and with the powerband of that beast should read up or have a go at it.
Conta, conta. Qua siamo in pista a Monza e in fondo al rettilineo dei box sono arrivato in 6a al limitatore; un bravo pilota potrebbe allungare ancora qualcosa in più. La prima da 160-170 km/h per me va bene, tanto non riesci a dare gas perché la moto si impenna, se fosse più corta non servirebbe a nulla. Su una sportiva servono rapporti giusti, non corti né lunghi.
Penso che per il 99% delle persone, prendere una Giap dal concessionario, uscire per strada e andare forte è una consuetudine. Assaporare e apprezzare fino in fondo moto come MV e/o Ducati, con esborsi di quel genere, mi fa pensare che se non le apprezzi dopo che hai speso tutti quei soldi è un controsenso. Che domanda difficile. Considera che la R1 non è una tourer, quindi la tua donna non è che poi la metti su una poltrona. La R1 è più comoda per strada e da usare tutti i giorni, c'è abbastanza differenza con la F4. Ma al cuor non si comanda e poi il bello di una moto sono le soddisfazioni, non la comodità. Io prenderei la F4, se proprio ne sei innamorato. Poi, oh, se proprio ti trovi così male, la cambi. La MV è sempre la MV, venderla non sarà difficile, e così ti sei fatto il sogno della vita.
Anch'io penso sia indicato 303, quel 309 non so se è photoshop o un riflesso strano... comunque niente male ma secondo me potevi uscire più forte dalla parabolica...
Yes yes, typical italian machine, beautiful, fast, exciting, but where's MV Agusta in SBK and Supersports Wold Championship? its big price is not justified, that video means nothing without a real result against other machines.
rispondo, anche se capisco che è inutile. A un filmato dove 8 tester/piloti esperti guidano 8 enduro e traggono le loro conclusioni, lei risponde: "ma quanto spende BMW in marketing?". Cosa vuol dire? Io non lo capisco, me lo spieghi se vuole. In un post (in inglese) dove si commenta la NV F4 lei risponde (in italiano): "sai che quest'anno bmw non corre più in sbk? eh eh eh". Ma cosa vuol dire? Sono dei commenti questi?
no really on a motorcycle ..especially if it has an air shifter?? most bikes you can up shift withour clutch ..but down shift you do need , with almost all bikes if you quickly hit the igniton on./off button and up shift qucik ..no clutch needed ..but at the end of the day .. i use mine :)
Con una mille sportiva (mio giudizio) si va solo in pista, e anche non troppo lenta, per esempio a Varano, Adria, non ti diverti, tutto sprecato. Oggi poi le maxi vanno ancora più forte, hanno 180 CV e passa, se non vai ai 300 a cosa servono? Se invece parli di strada, allora hai ragione, derapate e impennate, ma ci vuole una motard o al massimo una naked. Con i mezzi manubri, anche con le marce corte, fatichi e non ti diverti.
