This is the first video in my MV Do It Now series, where I document my adventures in a 2019 Ranger Tug R-29 CB trawler. In this video, they're pulling the boat out of the water on a trailer-based lift for a bottom inspection that's part of the boat survey. I shot this on August 22, 2022, the date I saw the boat in person for the very first time. The survey went well with virtually no problems to report, and the closing date was moved up to August 31.

I thought the 29 had a fully enclosed skeg protecting the prop

Apparently not.🤷🏻‍♀ Or maybe that's an older/newer edition of the boat. This one is a 2019; I know 2022 models have some changes.

Very, very interesting. That’s the first water-based non-helicopter I’ve ever seen. Just kidding, don’t forget to add a heliport to it. Look forward to more videos as I have not seen very many on cherry drying this year for some reason or somehow I’m missing them again. Let me know.

This season of cherry drying has been a bit unusual. I will eventually have some on that channel, along with a quick video explaining what weird stuff prevented me from making the flying videos I wanted to this season. Spoiler alert: it involves airworthiness.
