Glad you liked it! Years ago, I did a video where I covered the startup of a helicopter and that was a lot more involved. This is pretty simple. The only thing that’s odd here is that if I decide I’m going to drive from the command bridge, I need to turn on all the Garmin equipment up there before I start the engine. For some reason the Volvo computer stops talking to the Garmin chartplotters if I turn on the Garmin autopilot upstairs after I start the engine. The drawback to that is that the engine talking to the chartplotters enables me to get accurate fuel consumption readings, so I can track fuel economy while underway and know the quantity in my tank at all times. The fuel gauge float system that’s part of the Volvo system does not read accurately on my boat because it is stern heavy; it always reads a lot fuller than it is.

I retired from flying after last cherry season. There will be more flying videos, but not as many.
