LUCY (루시) is a 4 member kband that debuted May 8, 2020, under Mystic Story. The band consists of Shin Yechan (Violin), Choi Sangyeop (Vocal, Guitar), Cho Wonsang (Bass, Producer), and Shin Gwangil (Drums, Vocal). They are named after a dog they used to play with that lived near studio where they practiced~ 💙

Sadly not many bands in Korea get the recognition that they deserve. Outside of idol bands like CN Blue, N Flying, indie bands have it tougher - for every Nell or Hyukoh, there are deserving groups like Lucy

LUCY is that one band that delivers nostalgic, hopeful, magical music while also being able to make the inner child in you happier. Their music always remind of my childhood that passed too fast, now i'm still a young teen struggling to cope up with life's unexpected events. "Why we couldn't find and meet each other before?" For me this line is especially for Walwals, bcs we all know that LUCY debuted during pandemic era, where we can't have any gatherings. No chance to meet them. But also, they assure us that they will find us (through their music), it doesn't matter who will catch (no matter who's is our bias (?)). I hope the day will come where they can do international tours and concerts. I badly want to see and watch them live.

It makes me sad that LUCY (and KBands in general) doesn't get the recognition they deserve. While they aren’t like general KPOP groups, they are also talented, dedicated, and hard working people who care for their fans. It’s just ridiculous that talent like this gets overlooked in the KPOP community. More people should take the time to appreciate their music. We need to help share this with others.

Ooh this one is definitely a different style than what they've done in the past. More like folktronica? Definitely more of a western feel than eastern feel than their previous songs. Love how versatile Lucy is!!

Both the lyrics and melody are so addictive, which only the genius Lucy can make. This comeback plays so well with the EDM and harmonization of vocals and sounds. The other 3 tracks are also outstanding and memorable. Gatcha is the must-buy album of 2021!
