I sooo remember the good old days, where I sit and wait kung kailan magsisimula ang teleserye na too. This is one of my fav series that TV5 had made! And I hope they will air it again so that the new generation can still see this masterpiece. ❣️

David and that VOICE of his stands apart from all others. He will give everything he has to represent the original artist of each cover song he does. It's obvious his LOVE for the art in music.

i love david!!! ever since he stepped in that idol stage..acting here in the Philippines is like a dream come true...even i have not seen him yet...by the way, nandito ako means "i''m here" the song means that "i'm here, loving you, even though my heart bleeds...if ever, he leaves you, don't worry, i'm here, loving you"-------------------------a very nice song...

"Love is just one word and yet is everything in this world. We find it everywhere. But true love, that's the hardest to find. Some people live and die without finding their true love, or maybe they have but didn't know until it was too late. So when you find your true love, hold on to it and never let go 'coz that's what I would do." - Josh Bradley, "Nandito Ako", February 20, 2012
Songs included in his album are the title track, "Hold On" (both by Side A), “You Are My Song” (Martin Nievera) “I’ll Never Go" (Nexxus), "Tell Me" (Joey Albert), “Reaching Out” (Gary Valenciano), and “Rainbow" (South Border).
Thank you TV5 for posting this. I live in the US and really can't wait to see the mini-series. I'll be livestreaming when I can. I truly hope that there will be English subtitled DVDs for purchase from the US. David's voice is just so incredible even when I don't understand the words....I get the meaning with his expressiveness. Just BEAUTIFUL. ♥ ♥heartsong♫
I watch this show... The story is compelling... David shared an excellent performance...
Some people thought that even when he was on Idol. But his mother is Honduran and his father's heritage is Basque/Spanish w/ a bit of European. David was born in Florida, USA and is Hispanic -American.
This song is so amazing! I have watched Nandito Ako online. For those who are curious, David Archuleta really can act. I was really surprised at how well he handled the emotional scenes. He has the potential to be a great actor.
"There is something I wish to know, may I ask? Did you know, I've wanted you for a long time, I've waited for a long time, even though you're loving someone else, maybe if you didn't pay attention to me, even thought that's what I've wanted you to know, that this heart is only for you. I am here, wanting you even if my heart aches. If he leaves you, don't worry, someone loves you I am here. I will be your desire...."
David's Honduran on his mom's side and a mix including Spanish/Basque and small amounts of other European nationalities on his dad's side. In Nandito Ako David plays a Filipino-American (Filipino mom, American dad).
No - David is Hispanic (1/2 Honduran, 1/2 mixed w/ Spanish/Basque). The character he plays, Josh Bradley, is 1/2 Filipino and 1/2 American. born in the Philippines. But David did sing in Nandito Ako and do some lines in Tagalog.
In this Tagalog song it's sa iyo and means you. I am here loving you Though my heart is bleeding. In case she/he leaves you Don't you worry There is someone who loves you I am here
I recall he's having a tv series but I wasn't able to watch it since I was at work and never realized that it was done I just looked cover because I know he did the Forevermore but I wasn't aware that he actually did released an album full of OPM songs, just yesterday I encounter this videos and remember that he really had a tv series. Well I hope someday he'll once again do another one maybe he's a father or a husband role now since he did his first role in his younger years.
Nandito Ako (all 25 episodes) were already shown on TV5 in the Philippines and I think in Bahrain. But TV5 is introducing a Global Kapatid network and it seems like that will be a pay channel (cable, satellite, etc) in a number of countries including US. I expect they will show Nandito Ako on that. Also we believe they are working on a subtitled DVD set.
I can't help but correct you for some points. Una sa lahat kahit na Filipino (admit it or not Tagalog-centric ito by nature) ang national language ayon sa batas ng Pilipinas, the way you said implies that you are denying the very existence of hundreds of languages na meron sa bansa. Hindi mo mapipilit na managalog all the time ang mga Ilocano, Bisaya, Kapampangan, maging mga ethnolinguistic groups, dahil mother tongue nila ang sumisimbolo ng kanilang identity among others. Pangalawa, don't expect that Filipinos around the world will speak in Filipino. Don't be so entitled that you have rights to question your Fellow Filipinos why they stop conversing in Filipino. Let them be. Let them learn new languages and appreciate them. Masarap maging Polyglot (term for people who can speak several languages). I'm sure you are aware that almost Filipino parents, be it domestic or abroad, wikang English ang tinuturo nila sa mga anak nila at the young age. This is because English is our universal language, which is unfortunately crucial in the corporate world. Kaya hindi mo masisi ang mga Filipino parents to raise their kids in the American English.
Nandito Ako is a 25-episode miniseries that was shown in the Philippines on TV5 starting in Feb 2012. It will show soon on Global Kapatid channel on the Dish network in the US (may be an extra pay channel). And we are hoping for a subtitled DVD set to be sold.
... and it was a 25-episode miniseries "Nandito Ako" :) David did it during the 10 weeks before the start of his church mission (as well as recording the albums Forevermore in Philippines and BEGIN in US). BTW if you are on twitter he's DavidArchie - his manager Kari tweets while David's on his church mission.
