Yes, and it is not juist hype. The adoration of the public was/is not exagerrated and misplaced. She truly is a multi-talented, multi-dimensional actress. And she is humble, kind and caring. She is intelligent, very smart, double-majored. Plays the piano, violin, guitar, drums, flute, etc. Draws, paints, swims. Is there anything she can NOT do? PEB never ceases to amaze us. We first discovered her in EAW, then binge watched TKA. And now CAD. Wow! Wow! Is all we can say. She only had a few months to learn how to masterfully sing, play the guitar, dance well, convincingly speak a new dialect. And pull that all together while acting like she is primitive, "rough around the edges". Walking almost ape-like. Like someone who has NOT walked on even, firm cememt ground for 15 years.

No kidding! She's got to be one of the most talented/versatile performers in the world. There are some great Broadway actors/singers who are similarly multi-talented, but a lot of them trained on instruments and singing since they were kids and it seems like she picked much of this up as an adult, right, even though she's been acting since childhood.
