Who's here after watching *ODG* ? This song is pure feelings, pure talent expressed in a song.

I wanted to let the international fans know that a lot of Koreans think this MV is referring to the Sewol Ferry Incident. People think the MV is about a woman thinking about her child (Zico) that she lost in the incident. Some connections: - Emphasis on water in the MV (Also note the transition from the word indelible to the sea). - Two dates are circled red on the calendar. 14th refers to the Titanic sinking on the 14th of April and the 16th refers to the date of the Sewol Ferry Incident (April 16th) - Items such as the dinosaur to refer to a child - Knocking before coming into the empty room, meaning the owner of the room, if they were her child, was probably in middle school or high school. - Balloons were also quite frequently used to remember the victims of Sewol Ferry and also in protests related to the incident. Also, there's mention that one of the victims of the Sewol Ferry Incident was BlockB fan so people were thinking Zico might have had him/her in mind.

The lyric that goes "How brightly must you shine for me to squint like this" kinda makes me think of how a mom would watch their child grow as wrinkles start to form around their eyes with age. That part is so lyrically beautiful because it describes how a mother would see their child (shining brightly) as well as acknowledging how through that time the mother has aged. Zico never fails to impress 😢

이 곡에선 연인에 대한 이야기임에도 불구하고 뮤비에선 사랑하는 사람을 보낸 부모의 입장으로 재해석해 다양한 관점에서 이 곡에 대해 느낄 수 있게 한 게 정말 좋은것 같네요.

이 노래만 들으면 아련해짐… 멜로디도 멜로딘데 가사가 지코답게 너무 진국이고 다운 목소리와의 조합도 개오짐 새벽에 들으면 ㄹㅇ 서사 뚝딱인 노래… 지코 보고싶다

노래 듣다가 운다는 걸 상상해 본 적도 없는데 그 이유와 잘못을 찾는 내가 그 이유와 잘못인걸 이부분 듣는데 너무 현실적이고 나같아서 그냥 눈물이 흐름. 지코 진짜 가사 미쳤다.

지코 곡의 가사들은 너무 소중한것같다 한 글자한글자 놓치는것도 아까워서 더 집중하게 되고 .. 듣는 사람이 이럴만큼 창작을 하는 입장에선 얼마나 고민을 하고 다시 깍아내면서 원석을 내는지 새삼 느껴진다 결론 지코 최고 ㅠ 거의 시 한편을 보는듯하다

연인이든 가족이든 벗이든 소중하게 생각했던 사람이 있어야한다고 생각했던 자리에서 사라지면 남아있는 사람은 어쨋든 삶을 살아가야 하지만 추억은 남아서 기쁨,슬픔,외로움, 공유했던 기억이 이따금 찾아오죠. 누구든지 공감할만 한 가사고 뮤비인듯

My interpretation is that she is a mom that has been “left behind” by her child which followed his own path. She is always thoughtful and nostalgic thinking about him. Maybe ZICO made this for his mom, considering how many times Zico appears in the MV. The lady is always there by his side even tho he doesn’t notice that. 2:18 She sees his shoes. She wants to enter his child’s room, but prefer to pretend he is still there and she must knock. 2:58 “indelible” = something/a person that cannot be forgotten 3:23 Zico’s balloons aka “dreams” reference (another thing that reveals Zico’s connection with this person) Her eyes have an empty glance. She feels the loneliness and the emptiness of missing someone she loves the most. Truly heart touching. To the end she is tearing up but she wipes off her tears meaning that she knows she must go on. The last scene shows her sitting on a bank peacefully while Zico is passing in front of her again, probably meaning that she is at ease only knowing him well even tho she is.. alone.

이 노래를 처음 들었을 때가 생각 나요. 오전 7시 반 버스 안에서 다소 쌀쌀한 4월의 출근길. 하천길 따라 핀 벚꽃을 보며 새삼 놀란건지 정신이 어벙벙한건지도 잘 모르는 채 난 그대로인데 계절은 변해가고 난 아직도 춥고 어두운 12월에 갇혀 퇴근 후 이불 속에만 숨어있었는데 마음의 준비도 하기 전에 세월이란 시간에 끌려다니며 생각했어요. 난 그대로인데 아니 어쩌면 ㅇㅏ직도 그때의 12월인데 야속하게도 벚꽃은 피어 아름다움을 뽐내듯이 만개하였는데 마치 듣고싶지 않은 알람소리처럼 다가온 벚꽃의 계절 다시는 봄이 올 것 같지 않았고 다시는 꽃 같은 건 안 필줄 알았는데 제 마음의 생명력만 꺼진채 남겨졌을 때 이 노래를 들으면서 나와 같은 사람이 있구나하며 위로는 아니지만 그냥 먹먹하고 답답했어요.

헤어지고 나서 복잡하고 허무하고 허탈한 감정들을 음악으로 풀어낸것같다.......이유와 잘못을 찾아보고... 버려진건지 남겨진건지...막막하고 쓸쓸한 감정들이 다 느껴진다...

영원히 음악해줬으면 하는 개인적인 바람. 저번앨범의 ‘사람’도 이번노래 다 정말 이렇게 좋을수 있을까 생각할정도로 좋다 정말 좋다 제발 영원히 노래해줬으면!!!

묘하게 4월이 되면 이 노래가 생각남… 배종옥님의 공허한 눈빛과 한없이 잔잔한 물결이 그 날을 떠올리게 만들어서 마음이 너무 아픔.. 마지막 장면에서도 지나다니는 사람들을 보는 모습이 마치 나만 그 날에 멈춰있고 시간은 계속 흐르는 것 같다는 느낌.. 노래랑 뮤비 화자는 다르지만 둘 다 너무 좋다

다운 보이스가 너무 신비롭고 우리 지코 이곡에대한 쓸쓸하고 공허한 느낌이 랩에 담겨있고 소절마다 조금씩 느낌을 다르게주려고 한게 너무 섬세하다 독립해서 성장한 니가 홀로 남았을때 좋으면서도 쓸쓸하고 공허했을거같아..그럼에도 불구하고 너는 그런 찰나의 감정을 놓치지 않고 이렇게 음악으로 표현하는군.. 배종옥배우님이 출현하시니 나는 같은여자로 비디오내용과는 조금 다르지만 엄마라는 남겨짐에대해 생각해보게되었어 아이들이 내품을 떠났을때 내가 마니외로웠고 쓸쓸했구나.. 근데 느끼면 힘드니까 묻어두고 피하며 지냈는데 니노래를들으며 감정이 올라와서 먹먹해지더라 남겨짐이란 나한테 그랬구나를 느끼게해줘서 고마워 지코야

여러가지를 시도하는 우지호 정말 멋지다고생각해 앞으로도 많이 내줘 항상 파이팅이야

Balloon 이랑 뮤비 이어지네요.. 지코가 버스에서 내릴때쯤 balloon 뮤비랑도 이어지고, 3:23 초 쯤 에 뒤에 풍선 올라가는데 색깔도 같고, ballon 뮤비에서도 지코가 천국 계단 올라갈때 풍선이 올라가는데 색깔 마저 같네요. 이 뮤비에서 지코는 아들 역할이 맞고 뮤비의 여성분은 어머니 맞는거 같애요.. 개인적인 생각으로 어머니는 떠난 자식을 못 보내고 아들은 천국으로 올라가는거네요.. 또 달력에 16일에 동그라미 (0416), 지코(세월호 사고로 떠난 아들)가 지나가도 못 보시는 어머니, 빈 방문을 노크 하는것, 물이 계속 나오는 것, 마지막에 물을 바라보는 어머니 결국엔 세월호의 관련 된 노래 같습니다 명불허전 지코네요

여자친구와 안좋게 헤어져서 남겨지고 분노와 증오의 감정속에서 힘들어 할 때 마침 이 노래가 나와 나를 치유해주고 그 사람을 용서하게 되었습니다. 나에게 너무 큰 상처를 준 것은 맞지만 제가 우선적으로 느꼈어야 할 감정은 비로소 남겨짐과 슬픔, 그리움이었고 한때 정말 사랑했던 사람으로서 부디 행복하고 잘 지내길 비록 짧았지만 제 인생의 한 순간을 빛내준 당신에게 감사합니다. 또, 좋은 음악 만들어주셔서 감사합니다.

이별 이후의 자신의 이야기를 밝은 코드로 덤덤하게 시작하지만 노래가 고조될수록 불협화음이 점점 튀어나오면서 마음이 같이 고장나는 듯한 느낌을 주네요... 듣기만 해도 가슴이 먹먹한 감정이 느껴집니다.

뮤비 중간에 indelible이적힌 넵킨이 젖는 장면이 나오는 걸 보니 그 뜻인 '잊을 수 없는, 지워지지 않는' 대상을 그리워하는 내용인 것 같아요

이제 수능을 마치고 다른 지역에 대학을 가 엄마가 씁쓸히 저를 기다리는 모습을 상상하니 저도 모르게 눈물이 많이 났어요. 노래가 이렇게 사람 감정을 움직이게 하는 힘이있다는걸 다시한번 깨닫게 되었어요. 우지호님 감사합니다.

It’s saddening me that people who are into KPOP (watch basically everything, like drama variety show etc) BUT never realized how talented our Woo Jiho is. He is Zico, he makes masterpieces. Please know that. I hope next time when he releases something, people will know from himself, not from other videos. It’s Zico we’re talking about, one of the best.

Well this takes me back to my trip to Korea when I was on itewon streets there was this lady selling hotdogs (really really good hotdogs) she had yellow ribbon chains for people to take and also stickers all over her stand but more than that her expression.. it’s just the same feeling that the person in the video had .. so empty... so sad .. so over with everything.... she indeed looked so hopeless... I tend to perceive emotions from people and I can feel it .. and just remained me so much of my mom and thought a mother’s pain it’s something indescribable that there’s no word existing for it ..from that day I have been praying for her , as I seen her business it’s going great her hotdogs are delicious , I really wished to give her a hug and tell her thank you 😓 I regret I didn’t.. God bless you and thank you so much for making such a delicious hotdog made my experience in Korea much more than a trip ❤️
