@@donovanlewis6708 - it's not nostalgia. This isn't some NES game that we all stopped playing decades ago. MvC2 is still full of life and people play it casually and competitively across the world. Nothing is perfect in life and every game has flaws. However, the 'flaws' in MvC2 are highly subjective and debatable.
@@Romneto Doesn't mean a game should be left out for improvement for its few flaws are shown in the competitive aspect. the idea of the perfect game is always debateable and don't get me wrong MvC2 is close to it but it's only a few balancing corrections away from being perfect.
Vdo got tired of waiting for openings... Magus team is based on his opponent falling for the trap of thinking it's safe to hit...its hard to isolate spiderman with hulks invincibility shielding him. Juan did a good job tho but he's always been a sucker for the old instant overhead... These matches were gold though... Instant classic.. ✊💯💯💯
Gracias MagusOld, por dejar en claro el nivel de México y demostrar que una tercia low puede ser mas creativa que miles de batallas con los mismos personajes que ya todos escogen. Este vs y el de Khaos dejan un buen testimonio.
Both teams have a similar composition. Point character is speedy with a lot of movement options. 2nd is the muscles and the third is the anti air that can fight solo.
Keeping up? Lol he won the set, and that Hayato air combo into black Hayato at the end to close it. . . HYPE! VDO is always a joy to watch but Magus is easily the most entertaining low tier player I've seen.
Makes me feel like I’m nice at the game because I can’t do infinite’s to save my life I fuck with low tier’s and I picked up Colossus because of the Low Tier King VDO himself!! 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪👊
@@Augmintt - Thank you for helping out with technical information about the MvC2 engine. I can always count on you for that. The community response to this video has been wondrously overwhelming.
@@Romneto was watching this set of matches again - is this an unblockable? Looks like ken was blocking the gamma wave ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-23hCCxH2Ryk.html
Both of these guys are the creme of the crop. Having said that I love 12:54 MagusOld wants to finish Rogue, VDO being who he is isn't going to run away. He'll fight with her until she gets killed or can switch using supers to tag out as she does. But VDO is game and brings her back to finish out that round. The game for these guys is to win, but more so is to have fun doing it.
People will never stop playing MvC2. The game will never die. I'm doing my best to present exceptional MvC2 content and there is much more on the way! Thanks for watching. I highly recommend watching MvC2 Online Highlights v.6 That is my best video
@@Romneto thats whats up man. I respect that. Ill check those videos out. This is just a really well made game or rather work of art, that seems slept on and underrated. And as far as gameplay, the sky is the limit imo. This game (and the vs series in general) means a lot to me for personal reasons. Through the years its always been difficult to get a hold of places locally that have the cabinets/cds of it especially pre internet/ youtube/online purchacing, age etc. Its cool to see people who share a huge passion for mvc2 and all its intricacies in gameplay, animation, and art design etc. who have a strong desire to keep it accessible and relevant. Keep sharing the content and thanks.
@@jinsaotome3607 - I do not believe that MvC2 is in any way slept on or underrated. It is considered by many to be one of the best if not the best Fighting game of all time. The game has immense personal significance to me too and thanks for the positivity.
I purposely disabled the music because I make highlights videos and it's better to have source videos with no music so that I can add music to connect disparate clips for the highlights video. [Edit] - you must be trolling. You asked me this same question 11 months ago and I answered it. Find something better to do with your time.
Really hope they announce a switch release as well as a release for modern council at the tournament this year for the anniversary that would be awesome
Perhaps you are not familiar with how I operate this channel and my overall creative process. I invest an extraordinary amount of time into creating MvC2 Highlights videos and I am telling you that so I can tell you another thing. I purposely disable the music of the game because it allows me to choose my own bgm when I make highlights videos. If I did not disable the game music and then I added a different song when I edit the highlights videos it would be dissonant and distracting for viewers. Even if I decreased the source audio and I increased the volume of the new bgm it would sound strange to hear subtle hints of one song with a louder song on top of it. Let's say I muted the source audio completely (to eliminate the distortion between the game music and the bgm I choose) that would cause me to lose the in game sound effects which are a crucial element of the overall experience. The sound effects are like the spices of the game. Ever tried cooking without using any spices? Exactly. Also, I have been playing MvC2 for 20 years. I admit the soundtrack is cool but after that many years playing the game I'm tired of it. It's a non-factor to me. Plus I figure that viewers can easily open another tab/window to play any music they want to hear if music is that important to them. I provide this content because I love the game. Nobody pays me for this. I do it for free and because I want the Community to have entertaining, innovative, exhilarating content. Over the years I've received numerous complaints about various things in my videos but I think people forget that I am one of the few people who consistently provide exceptional content for this game. I am of the belief that it's better to appreciate what you have rather than complain/criticize what you do not have. For each one of my MvC2 highlights videos, I watch 2,000 - 3,000 MvC2 matches. That is immensely time consuming and that is only the first step in the creative process. I give each highlight clip a highly detailed name that describes it clearly and then I organize the clips into folders according to what type of highlight it is. From there I delve into concept planning where I brainstorm and decide upon the segments of the video and what order I will present them in. That's just to give you an idea about what goes into to making a godlike MvC2 highlights video. There are more steps beyond that, but I think you get the idea. My most recent highlights video, MvC2 Online Highlights v.6, is my best MvC2 video and it is the result of 9 months of hard work and dedication. I encourage you to watch it and feel free to post your thoughts about it. Since it takes an unbelievable amount of time and effort to make top notch highlights videos I do everything I can to streamline the process. Turning off the in game music is the first and perhaps most crucial way to streamline that creative process.
i played both a bunch of time and magus has gotten better i used a t.bonne assist with chunli dark sakura and had not real issues . i honestly thought vdo would have gone 10 - 0 because magus team is too assist depended. but if this is really from 2019 would love to know how the hell they are playing this? im sick of all these idiots crowning this too as the best low tier players when i smacked magus a bunch of times. VDD101 which was his name on psn would beat me like 65% of the time.
@@DerrickWhitsyJr excuse me? Show me a team that doesn't spam an assist. Also don't get it twisted t.bonne was an adjustment to deal their constant assist spam.
@@Romneto true. Maybe a sprinkle of juggz in with charlie and iceman. But one day when you master that team you guys gotta give it a go. Did vidness an magus ever play before with vidness using juggz?
Al menos usan otros personajes y le sacan provecho! Y no es porque aburra sentinel, storm, psylocke, magneto que son los más chidos y elegidos por casi todos, pero también hay más personajes
