If mine came with medium length stems, I’d be poking my eye out, some of us want short stems, especially when the barrel is already 53mm long 👍

nice review, always liked the look of mvg's darts but the smooth section near the front of the barrel always puts me off as thats pretty much where i hold my darts...cracking finish on these though.

Adam; good review. I do like the look of the atomized coating; just wonder how it will hold up after some use. I like the straight barreled design; might have to give these a try sometime.

Agree totally most darts you buy nowadays come with short stems, it's annoying why can't they supply with medium stems, love the atomised finish on them, heard few negatives about the match weighting on these isn't that good. Nice darts and review all the same.. 🎯👍💯

horses for coarses, personally any dart that comes with a medium stem is always swapped out, but then any stem tends to only last a few weeks at most anyway so not a factor in my dart purchases

When we pick our darts online, we should be able to click on a box, stating what stem length we want, just like what weight we want, easy fix really

These darts are not replica's of his darts. These are the exact darts he uses. He gets a new set every couple of months is what he said in an interview.

Worldwide darts did a review of these and they only weighed 21.3! They were all within .02 of each other (which is incredible) but was .20 off from advertised weight. I would be pissed!

Beginner darts player here. Can just about hit the 20 and any other number desired 8/10 times. Doubles and treble are purely luck. I currently use a Winmau set from Argos (link below) and my mate gave me some aluminium shafts cus the plastic ones were a bit wobbly in them. Do you think these would be a good shout for me? I've no idea what weight etc I like but I did try some red dragon amberjacks 21g and they felt good but the grip was really thin.didnt feel like I was holding much so sent them back. My winmau say 24g maybe a little more now with the aluminium shaft but the barrel is nice and chunky (7mm I think) Just not sure if I'm ready to be dropping 50quid on a set as a total noob? Thanks for your review!

Hi Janes, the key is to just enjoy playing, you Can get some lovely sets for around £30, try as many sets as you can before making a purchase, glad our videos help, let us know how you get on

on the box it says that the darts are 23 grams ... 23 grams mounted or 23 grams only the body

Hi. I am a bit kind of lost. I have been using RVB 95 2BA for years about 17g, and now i am looking for heavier darts. Problem 1: My hometown does not have much darts store, and i can only get a hold of MVG set of; XQMax 23g - Steel Tip (shorter than winmau) - Only tried steel tip, dont have soft tip. Need to try this on soft tip. Winmau Authentic 20g - Soft tip (slightly longer than xqmax) - Only tried soft tip. Personally i would prefer 50mm barrel length and above due to my hand positioning of darts, which winmau authentic is 50m whilst xqmax is 48mm. What do you recommend? I am looking for more insights to understand more as well.. feel free to give feedbacks or suggestions.

It’s difficult as you really don’t know until you actually pick the dart up and throw with it, sometimes a dart you think you may struggle with feels lovely and you throw well snd vice versa, it’s such a shame you have no where to try darts.

@@DartsPlanetTV Yes... i have narrowed down to either Absolute or Exact. Still having trouble to try the darts as there is no where i can try... I have a partner that is using Authentic version, and i have been trying on my local leagues and it is doing well. Steady, nice grips, nice release. It's just, i am stuck in between Exact or Absolute now.
