MVP Baseball 2005 was not only one of the best looking games on the market at the time, but it had one of the deepest franchise gameplay in baseball, with a 120 year Dynasty Mode, as well as an Owner Mode with the ability to create your own ballpark. MVP Baseball 2005's gameplay was fun, with sliders making the possibility to have a more simulation-type gameplay for hardcore baseball fans. Unlockable historic ballparks and uniforms, along with addictive mini-games only added to the complete experience. Moddability of the game has allowed the die-hard MVP Baseball community to continue to create new and updated content to this date.
MVP Baseball 2005 was not without its flaws, but it was one of the best sports games on the market. Exclusivity of licensed MLB games going the way of 2K shortly after MVP Baseball 2005's release prevented us from seeing where this franchise would be today, and this final lasting impression has propelled MVP Baseball 2005 to its legendary legacy.
