Trains 21 is a documentary of railroading in the 21st century and a look at the fascinating world of transportation. On this channel we deal with all aspects of trains with a strong focus on the Northeast USA.
The goal is for you to learn a lot in a short amount of time.. A major infusion of knowledge in just a few minutes.. And if those few minutes distilled some of the best railroad information in the industry, we feel that we've done our job..
The trick is clarity.. Clear, concise and on point.. New videos are uploaded frequently and if you like what you see, comment, like and subscribe (in that order!).

They need to replace the ties and rails and move them further apart so there's clearance for two trains to run side by side and have space between them

When you speed it up the Norfolk Southern Train it looks just like the trains in Ho that run at work speed on our train layout. They derail like an HO train too. Just kidding.

When I see the word 'Derailment" my imagination triggers visions of tank cars on fire, engines in ditches, towns evacuated etc..... I guess those are the ones they call "Major Derailments".

Where was the large flat rail car with the enormous crane which could lift one end of the locomotive, and then the other end, and place it on the rails once again?

They didn’t need a crane for this
@irish00011
@irish00011 2 года назад
@@loganbaileysfunwithtrains606 Well as long as it had taken to re-rail the locomotives, without damaging more rails and ties, it should have been the plan of attack, but as I can view, it wasn't.
