When Activision remasters one of the best Call of Duty’s, but it has no multiplayer, no micro-transactions, and it’s campaign only. These are confusing times.

Anyone remember that one game "Spec Ops: The Line"? Starts off as a generic cover shooter with a basic "find the missing person" story, then everything very quickly turns upside down and makes you regret almost everything you've done. Great game.

I really liked this remaster a lot, I think about the last campaign in the old engine (WW2) and think that this remaster is as high quality as that game and it just impresses me.

The fact that they didn't remake the multiplayer is what's disappointing to me

About your account issue, I recommend contacting Nero's Cinema, he's a CoD youtuber but has no affiliations with Activision. You might think "How does this help?" Well, he's also quite vocal among the community. And since you're also a sizable RU-vidr it might get relayed to Activision. That's just and idea man. I don't know anything better. So, sorry about that.

Activision has said recently that they have pretty much finished the multiplayer but they think that they’ve changed it too much and are afraid that people are gonna hate it. Also there have been leaks about mw3 remastered already. The leakers say that it’s also gonna probably be campaign only when they first sell it.

I'm actually a fan of the OG soundtracks and remasters being not too doffirent from the original game. That's what makes it nostalgic and I'm willing to pay full price to re-live my old memories on updated servers and graphics. I mean MW2 and BO1 are practically unplayable these days because they are unpopulated andd prpne to hackers. Wouldn't mind paying for a full game to bring them back to life.

Imagine a COD Black Ops remake with a similar story line. Imagine being a business man in 1st person and you're in the WTC when it collapses and then it cuts to a news reporter reporting on the towers going down. Then it cuts to a secret base outside of Afganistan. And at the end of the mission you kill Bush along with Osama and it alters the future timeline. Something like that. You get me? Along with one of the comments said with a WAW remaster.

I guess my issue is: why spend $20 on a remastered campaign, when I can get the complete trilogy- multiplayer and spec-ops included- for another $10 on Xbox One? I guess that’s a justification for PS4 owners to get it, but once it’s on all platforms it isn’t as worth it. If they add multiplayer and spec-ops, that could make it worth a buy, but not in its current state.

I feel like since Cod MW2 was one of the best cods of all time, that they should've waited on this until they could've added spec ops and multi-player because thats what added to the magic of the game. Basically all they did was just some graphics upgrades(like dark souls remastered) and change some audio, which is really disappointing considering this is a triple A company, And because of all this i feel like it has little to no replay-ability. Overall i'm kinda disappointed and let down but will still buy the game because of nostalgia. Also Great review Acting Male!!

I don't understand why this was bothered with a Remaster if it's just going to be the Campaign, especially since MW2 MP is widely the most revered of the franchise. This whole timed exclusivity also isn't doing anyone favors in the end.

I didn’t even know it came out until literally the day of. I was so confused I saw gameplay and assumed it was beta or something and I searched it up and it was like “mw 2 remastered out TODAY” I saw no ads, no commercials, no youtubers hyping it up, I was so out of the loop

8:53 to be fair the new modern warfare has to much data needed to fit in a console or at least on a original ps4 which left some people unable to play since season 2’s release.

It's implied that Shepard was working a little bit with Makarov in order to start the war and Shepard would become respected after the nuclear incident in Cod4. This also kind of explains why Shepard betrays TF141 as there may have been communications between Shepard and Makarov on his computer. There is even a cut ending where you hunt down Shepard with your knife in campaign version of Rust and he has dialogue that confirms this this theory. So a few cut scenes talking about this would be really good. Maybe even a bonus mission based on the cut ending. This is a bit unrelated, but it would be nice if they explained who the VIP in Exodus is and what was on his laptop. I also noticed that the intro of team player is much shorter. Normally there is a pan across the map of Afghanistan, we see a simulation showing different military vehicles like Humvee's and similar vehicles. Even an animation of the bridge layer, laying it's bridge. Shepard begins talking halfway through. Then we see a virtual armory showing rows upon rows of about 100 different rifles. In the remastered version though, Shepard begins talking during the pan, briefly showing the bridge layer, than about 4 rows of around 30 weapons. I also noticed that the design of the Humvee's has been changed. I also saw something that said Activision no longer has a license to show Humvee's.

2 years later and I can definitively say they have still not added multiplayer and spec ops to Modern Warfare 2 Remastered

Treyarch needs to follow in the footsteps of Infinity award and remaster Bo1 and/or Bo2

I don't really look forward to "remastered" games nowadays due to the remaster only making the graphics better, half of the time, and another aspect of not really adding much or taking things away that made the original good

i think they just try something "new" to make more money first release the SP then the MP and if it isnt incl. in the MP they also release a single spec ops/zombie/survival which requires SP

If they could remaster WAW and cod 1-3 I'd be happy. Even if it was just SP. I want the full package remastered with Halo MCC style attention and ability to switch graphics back and forth but I can only hope

MW2 is my favorite campaign. I'm thinking of getting it when it comes out for Xbox because I liked the original and probably will replay it quite a bit.

I only learned about CoD: MW2 Remastered because of this video. And they expect it to sell?

The thing that irritates me is that they couldn't even add in a Custom Class option into the Campaign and allow Me to pick what weapons I go into the field with.

This remastered version is awsome. The best remastered cod game yet. I love the great action ride that only can deliver a single player game.

This isnt relevant to MW2, but about CoD itself. It's quite a read, but I'd enjoy a good conversation about this with you all. I think CoD should be released biennial, or in English, released every other year. This would give more time for the Devs and Publishers to polish their games, give more content, longevity, and replayability to their games. This would also help reduce stress and burnout for fans as well. With this cycle us fans would get more bang for our buck while the Devs and Publishers could possibly make more as more evenly spread content would be smarter than a whole bunch at once. I also think it would be smart to have the CoD: Warzone just free and every dev team can work on it. When IW releases their CoD they run Warzone with Treyarch support and when Treyarch releases their CoD then vice versa happens. Getting a new CoD every year is good for business as they will always make good money, but I, along with other fans such as TheActMan himself, would rather wait for a quality and complete game with content at launch than just relying on DLC (paid DLC, free DLC is always welcome) and patches to fix the game. It would make the fans and Devs more passionate about their beloved games and communities.
