I’ve always wondered why they haven’t done the “chambered round separate from the magazine” mechanic. They added so much detail into the guns over the years and it would be a welcome addition to see 31 when you reload from a partially used mag.
It’s nice to finally see their version of a G36C and all, but man they need more actual pistols imo. Like an actual Beretta for one (which they seem to be genuinely scared of adding since Cold War for some odd reason), a USP, a Five-Seven, maybe even a P99? It’d also be cool to see a SPAS-12, a KSG, a Stryker, among other different weapons as well. Just more of a variety would be nice. But nah instead of more iconic looking pistols, these dudes really added some Advanced Warfare looking shit to the pistol roster instead tf lol
@@PeppinSpaghett.I mean the names aren’t exactly shown in this video but the two pistols featured after the Glock, or the X12, or whatever it’s called now. Those two pistols. Maybe Advanced Warfare looking is inaccurate but my point is that they look like they were ripped from some kind of futuristic shooter, and I would’ve much preferred they added in… you know… pistols that look more like ones we’ve come to be familiar with, instead of… those two things.
@@-SoonerorLater "Futuristic" looking weapons are just conversion kits for the glock and renetti, where they look like they were made from a 3D printer, to which they are.
@@PeppinSpaghett. Ok but either way, did they really need to be in the game over other weapons that could’ve been brought in, or brought back? That’s what I’m trying to get at here.
@@Lord_Rynanthat's not sledgehammer that's Treyarch and the animations on that are the same in cod mobile which looks so bad I still can't believe they gave the kiparis an AK reload that looked so stiff In Warzone the animations were subtly changed and were so much better for the Ots9 but by god they are so lazy they ported those anims to codm but made changed animations for fast mags I genuinely have no words
Which he did in John Wick 4. He used a Genesis 12 in the infamous dragon's breath scene. Although not quite the exact same gun, they are both shotguns based on the AR-10 platform.
Let’s hope later on they add some old fashioned era firearms that still see service from time to time in small and wide scale conflicts globally. Perhaps something like the mosin nagant, you could modify to make an obrez variant which would be cool. Like when mw2019 had the Kar98k. So many modern guns just feel similar in design and function.
I think I might have a theory as to why the SVA 545 is so cursed and it kinda comes down to time crunch since they couldn’t make a new animation for it in time they reused the Iraqi reload from mw2 and made the weapon model to fit that animation but they still wanted an AN-94 equivalent in game for launch, but in doing so they’ve made a gun that couldn’t possibly function since for the AN-94 to work they way it does (the hyper burst system) it needs to both have a canted magazine (to fit the internals needed) and that very weird muzzle break on there to it can gas the weapon perfectly otherwise it wouldn’t cycle Also on the SVA 545 you can see that there’s a little space between the trigger guard and the magazine catch that’s only on the Chinese type 100 and not on any other real AK variant (unless you count the draganov)
They dould of used the 2019 model, its sledgehammer, the developers for guns in cod are pretty rtaded if you know what i mean, so the models ofc look fucked
I like how the bullet impacts have realistic impact debris hit everywhere alont the cieling floor and walls. Me and my buddy were at a range shooting steel silhouettes and one of the damn copper jackets bits ricocheted off the plate and injued his wrist a bit. Couple butterly stitches and he was alright but that reminded me of that
Brother, they recicled sounds and animations for weapons that are not the same, like, they just take the concept of recicled and take it to another level.
incase nobody here noticed, the sva 545 uses the same reload sound effect as the kastov 74u from the previous game and if it's true that mw3 has the mw2 weapons combined with the new ones, that means we have two guns with same reused sounds💀
RIP those poor innocent guns on the wall. :( Nice to see the revolver grenade launcher is finally coming to MP, after being locked out of it in MW19/II.
I wish for the new striker 45 they didn’t do those iron sights. Back in 2019 they did it because it was a blueprint for the old one (not it’s own gun); to keep the iron sight silhouette in line with the default weapon as best as possible as to avoid any visibility positives/negatives to using the blueprint
Yknow what gun i would love in this game? The Scar-SC. Its not really an smg, but its used like one. If we got that it would be super good for the scar platform in-game
I'm really confused at how people are saying there's no more visual recoil, when in fact there is the exact same amount of visual recoil but less mechanical recoil.
You say this like the call of duty community isn't smoking copium 24/7. We knew this was going to be a downgrade because it's sledgehammer and sledgehammer just fucking sucks when it comes to visuals.
> Indoor firing range > Gunshots sound like they are outside. poor devs man, they could have done so much with this game if they were not rushed to make it in honestly less than a year.
I nearly had a stroke from hearing the forward assist on the (X)M7 making a very audible mechanical click when those things make barely any noise at all. Also look how they butchered my "AN-94" Also also, very slow firing PKM/PKP when they had a perfectly good one in MW2019...
Am I the only one who thinks that guns feel less real looking, less authentic? In mw2019 guns looked really nice, like the devs put real effort in making each gun look and feel real. In mw2 2022 guns started to look off here and there.
@@asian_inasuit9239 it's basically the kastov 545 animation from mw2. Given the fact that they had to make it under a year, it's understandable that they "borrow" animations from other titles.
Sledgehammer really needs a new animation team specificly dedicated to arms, cuz even when it's not about handling guns they seem clunky and robotic fr
Believe it or not, that AN-94 is actually exist. A 6x49mm Infantry Automatic Rifle prototype weapon that never enter production, so there's no any example of the weapon exist in real life
@@gregoriuswilliamc.6368 i just searched for it and yes, it's more similar to the SVA than AN-94 with just a minor difference, but I just found out there is a 6×49mm cartridge
no chamber check (on some guns) nor empty inspects? EDIT: how did the character move the karambit from the index finger to the thumb????? it's cool though
the sound effects are kind of muffed vs the previous MW2 (maybe even MW1 was better), seems not much improvement vs the BETA, hope they also reduced the TTK at least
most of the animations are comical and seem rushed... the sounds of the gun (not the gunshots) need work too imo, they sound like nerf guns. On the AMR9 the bolt catch doesn't even sound like anything...
No FN 5.7 again, like its been years since it was a cod game like i think it was bo2 or the og mw3 that we last saw it, so hopefully it comes back as a dlc weapon for this year
@@FoxCon Well, it was originally just a single shot AMR. It only later got a model with the side-mounted detachable magazine (only spot to put it on the gun), which is probably why it seems so similar to the NTW.
Watches = removed Emotes = removed Sprays = removed Got it, we are seeing a major regression in video game design if they cant even keep the same feature for more than one game.
They really need to add flared magwell grip attachment for pistols if they can't get the Sleight of Hand perk treatment because of the stupid Gunner Vest. The combination lock of Overkill and SoH is just stupid af
