This poor poor girl. Coming to a foreign country and being abused by the man she considered her brother, having to have an abortion and getting killed, dismembered and thrown away like garbage. Really really sad.

It’s nice to see so much spent resource wise and how much these detectives cared. You hear some negative stuff about “missing white girl syndrome” so it’s really heartwarming to see how much went into finding this young lady’s identity and killer. My heart is sore for her and what she endured. She deserved better.

Thanks to the detectives and all others that never gave up. I am an African living in Africa and I know that a lot of homicides happen. He took so much care because in his mind she could never be identified. Thank you so much for giving justice and closure to her family. Sometimes it's not that the person that went abroad abandoned the family or cut off all ties and broke promises. Sometimes it's because they are dead. Thank you.

As a Tanzanian born myself, this case hit really hard!! It was like seeing my little sister, family or friend taken advantaged off by someone who was supposed to be protecting her. Pain is overwhelming!! Life WITHOUT PAROLE is the only appropriate sentence for this deplorable lowlife

Watching from South Africa. This is absolutely gut-wrenching. To leave your own country in search of a better life, only to die like an animal in the hands of your own brother (we don't refer to people as "cousins" or "step" anything here, they're our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers), is unthinkable. My mind is blown by the technology used to help get an idea of who the victim might be! Thank God technology like that existed at that time in the 1990s! Imagine how much it has advanced since then!!!! We all have one precious life to live and deserve to enjoy it! I'm so so sorry Mwivano. I pray she rests in peace and I pray for the hearts and minds of her family. May God give them peace that only He can give.

What always hurts my.heart the most about being murdered is how they throw the victims away like garbage. Just that there are humans out there that see other humans like literal trash. They got their use out of someone and threw them away. A whole life snuffed out cause someone didn't want to get caught.

They see any human as a tool that they use for whatever neeed they have, once that tool is no longer of use, they dispose of it, just like throwing away a used napkin....Ask yourself, how bad do you feel after throwing away a used napkin? None, none whatsoever and would never feel guilt.

You’re finger printed when applying for the Green card but if you enter the country with a tourist visa no need of fingerprints.

Mwivano’s story was depicted on another true crime docu some years ago and how closely the clay forensic profile resembled her face. It was bittersweet the pain she suffered, but gratifying knowing the case was eventually solved. 🇹🇿🦋

That forensic anthropologist is absolutely fantastic! I’ve never seen a clay reconstruction that looked that good. They really look horrible and nothing like the decedent most of the time

I was amaze the medical forensic used the CT scan for facial reconstruction and preserving the head. They also used the dog to find the blood Instead of the luminol. Investigators did a job well done.

An excellent job, phenomenal. That evil brute intended for her to be never found or identified. Police Science is simply amazing, the facial reconstruction was spot on. It was no coincidence that the ex-wife saw that Poster of the "unidentified woman". It is praiseworthy that she had the wits to call the police albeit anonymously at first, but then went on to give them everything they needed.

Africans have huge hearts my stepmother lived in Zimbabwe in a village on the country, when she came to Europe she brung that energy with her. She is old school (traditional) and saw everything as a blessing here, she went from not having much to living a much more modern existence so even for her the ghetto was luxury in her eyes. Never yell at my dad or fight EVER always smiled and treated me and my brother like her own... I can just see Mwivano in my stepmother, sorry she had to go through this evil... Was holding back tears at the end.

One of the best episode in terms of work and time invested by detectives in case to bring justice to the victim who wasn’t even on the American database yet, especially the reconstruction of her face by technology was mind blowing!

To me, this is the way the justice system is meant to work. Find out what happened and hold the guilty accountable. Mwivano Kupaza wanted to make something of herself in America. I hope she knows now that she was always “something.” The detectives and the prosecutor involved in this case have so much of which to be proud.

Probably because AA skulls are more west African Movano was east African and theres a difference there.

Why would you be? Africans are pure African. So called African Americans have mixed DNA with white and native American due to their ancestors being enslaved and raped. That DNA passes down.

@@marketwizard1977 more likely it's because the DNA of black Americans has been altered by European and Native mixtures through centuries of mixing. The average black American does not look like an African whether you're comparing them to East, West or Southern Africans.
