Thanks to MX-Tech for their help and answering questions on my setup of the Raven System. Amazing job communicating throughout the process.
Installed on a 2019 KTM XC-W300TPI, Six Days.
This is an unboxing and installation of the MX-Tech Raven forks.

Really hope to hear more about these. Not a lot of info out yet on them.

I'm uploading a ride video tomorrow and talk about them for FWIW. I really like these cartridges. Thanks for watching!

I have them their good, can’t complain also don’t have a lot of experience with other setups. Certainly better than AER.

What spring rate did they send you? I have the luckys and they put .52 in them. I usually have 3.5 inches of travel left. I think I need to go one down.

I had to find that card to look. It says .50kg spring rate.

What is happening, are you bottoming out?

@@bryanhill7658 Opposite problem. Even with the comp all the way out I still get that much travel left. I even reduced my oil height level from 110mm to 130mm. That helped some, but overall the forks are pretty punishing to ride on rocks all day. Same with the national shock. I think they must have valved it for someone much younger and faster. 🤣 I ride a lot of rock littered single track in 1-3 rd gear. Average speeds are often like 10-15 mph. I think I’ll get with MXTech about a revalve.

In your video, you placed the brake cable on the wrong side of the fork leg. The cable should run down the inside of the fork. Also, when you install a pair of forks, you shouldn't just bolt them up and install wheel and axel. The left leg should go on first at the fork hieght youi are using or OEM recommendation. You'll have to snug up the bolts to hold them in place. Then set the right leg, (by adjuting it up / down) to make sure they both are at the exact same hight. Use the axel by pushing it through the lugs. If you can move it freely back and forth with your finger tips, your golden! Of courserse then install front wheel. One more step should be done. Axel shoud be tightened (use axel clamps in needed) then release tension on the axel clamps on the right fork. Raise front wheel enough to spin the wheel freely, then using the front brake, slam on the brake multiple times to center the axel in the fork. This prevents binding and gives a much freer action! Go ride.

Good catch on the brake cable, I noticed during the install the cable didn't seat very well in the fork guard. I went back and looked at pictures I had of the bike earlier and found I routed it the wrong way. That's really good information on the fork install. I'll have to go check this weekend.

Do you have a update on how you are doing with your Raven's?

Just finished a 4 day trip in Colorado. I had a completely stock air fork and WP shock to compare against the Raven and National Shock. The MX-Tech suspension is on the short-list of upgrades for my GasGas. I'll post an update soon.

Thinking way too much😊....just get to the point...can edit later Any suspension can be modified for any type of riding...its just valving and springs.....MX TECH is good stuff...springs cover a good range so going up or down in weight isnt that big a deal..... Just springs alone make huge difference...without proper rate rest doesnt even matter
