The first time this happened, my father and I were playing this. We both had to pause the game for a solid five minutes because we couldn't stop wheezing 😂
I used to play the demo version and I always go past that large hill or cliff somewhere in this map. I didnt expect out of bounds to be this fun and hilarious so I never got tired of doing that since. XD I miss this game. It's even funnier if you use that camera angel to watch yourself drive away towards out of bounds. You can hear the rumble sound (it gets louder the closer you're out of bounds) before the cannon sound.
This happened in Motocross Madness all the way back in 1998 too, and since rainbow studios worked on both games, I'm sure that's why It ended up in MX v ATV. Same sound effects were used too!
This was the best part and the game itself was such a awesome game such a classic I thank and respect whoever made this game cause it made my childhood better
I saw this in the PlayStation Store, but I can never seem to find this game when I hit up vintage stores or flea markets. I was ecstatic to discover this is the game I remember from my childhood with a good playlist and the awesome "fling you across the map" out of bounds effect. I remember spending a decent amount of time having fun just wrecking in this when I'd visit a friend.
This is what I been looking for! I couldn’t remember if there was an actual audible sound, but I remember this one map it was like grey and in a valley tall mountains surrounding it but I remember a trophy truck as well
Bro i unlocked memories with this vid 😭😭 i was 9 years old and it was so ahead of it times, the gameplay of every vehicle was very good and it was running on potatoes
Used to play that one with my younger brother all the time, we would run all the way across the map to be launched by the out of bounds invisible wall.
Me and my brother played this game at my cousin's. By me memory, this is literally all we did. We definitely didn't play the actual game and I don't think we learned to do any tricks. We just drove off the map again and again just to experience this.
