A number of people were asking about removal of the MX-5 NC sill trim panels and about how to fix broken plastic parts, so its all covered in this video.
You may run into issues if yours is an earlier model NC. I found out that they have clip fixing on the reverse of the mouldings that face both left and right rather than all the same way! That's fine when you're fitting one new at the factory but not so helpful when it comes to removing. One guy I know followed my plastic welding tips and actually cut the tops off some of his wrong way facing ones, turned them 180º and plastic welded them back on. Bit of a pain but cheaper than sourcing two newer type mouldings.
