To help with the bright lights use small piece of masking tape and black Sharpie over each light. You can see light under tape but not in your eyes

Nice setup. Sounds good. I want to say loosen up when you play though. Try and get into a groove where you feel comfortable playing. Tap into your creative zone and pick those strings how you are feeling. Explore the guitar and make it a part of you. Have a nice day. I must go practice playing now :)

Are you using Boss SD-1 MIT or MIJ?

Don't believe everything you hear some moron say. Never scoop the mids. Especially when playing with a band. It's fine when you're by yourself. Just play around with different settings and see what you like. Instead of what other people tell you.
