Very useful. What do you think of the Athena Hyper Racing cylinder you compared this MXS to in the previous video? I'm faced with choosing a new cylinder kit and I'm leaning towards Athena.
@@324mx Hello. I bought the Athena set. I couldn't believe what is written in the manual - that the recommended nozzle is 145 and for test drives I put on a 120 main jet. Then I thought that it was a mistake in the manual with this 145 nozzle, just as it is wrong in this manual that the recommended spark plug is NGK B9EGV. This spark plug has a long thread and putting it on caused the piston to meet the spark plug... Unfortunately - the recommended nozzle is probably not a mistake, because after 30 minutes of gentle driving and one more rapid acceleration, the scooter went out while driving and it was impossible to ignite it. But it did not stop like a swollen piston, but there was the effect of a lack of spark. After checking the ignition, electrics, etc... After removing the cylinder cover, the smoothness on the cylinder was perfect, only a slight discoloration was visible on nicasil near the exhaust channel. Since I couldn't find anything, the cylinder was finally removed and I discovered that the piston had seized (shock!). Piston replaced, cylinder slightly honed. The engine is running. Now I will start the tests from the top - i.e. from the nozzle 145 ... This fun is expensive, because a new piston costs 74 euros! And it needs to be replaced every 15 hours, as long as nothing happens sooner. I don't know if I'll decide to buy a weaker cylinder with a longer life at the next seizing? Regards!
@@figerchannel hello, the nozzle dependes of many things has you know. The piston last a lot more then 60 hours. They said that in the manual to protect themselves, like that, for sure don’t break in 15 hours. Use a big carb like 24 or 26 and hyper racing exaust.
@@324mx Hello! About setup no worries! In addition to the Athena cylinder kit, there is a full Athena air intake with reed valve, PWK24, Yasuni Carrera, and the drive is a full Stage6 Overrange kit and Malossi gearbox 😁😉
I was expecting more. I get my jog up to 98km/h on stock crank, polini contessa, dellorto 19, yasuni r and polini sport variator. Dont think the crank will live long but it gets up there and pretty quickly.
with dr arrow extreme exhaust and 17.5 with top variator I did 97 km per hour with such an elaboration the 100 should do it with eyes closed not with effort
Perhaps you gonna set it up and then you can judge again 😉. Here à link to video where it's set up correctly! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qqbuFnX4pO4.html
